It is a trend which is catching up fast!
by vishwanathan on Sep 13, 2007 11:34 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The normal population of Bihar are tired of the being the victims. They also have aspirations of a normal society like the rest of Indians. The current incident seems to be a trend which is catching up fast. With more and more information being available in the media (more particularly, the satellite television), the suffering people are retaliating. We pray for a peaceful and prosperous Bihar. In view of the tremendous resources in the State, We dream of a Bihar where the people are able to lead a self-respecting life.

Bihar is no 1 in :

corruption
prostitution
illiteracy
rape
thefts

.
.
no time for compilation.

Sandeep advocates all these attributes, and has got it from birth.

people has realised that police are hand in gloves with the criminal and such incidences will be a strong deterrant. Anyway why do you drag the sethu issue here. After you learn to have faith in what is seen and not what is unseen and also, try to attach yourself with the country then only you will understand the sentiments associated with the sethu

you have grave misunderstanding. laloo has done two great things bihar which no govt. has done in any state till now.
he has not allowed any communal riot to happen during his tenure while before him there were three fixed festivals when these riots used to take place every year.
secondly he has given the guts to the lower cast people to look into the eyes of self proclaimed upper cast and remove their ideas that they can rule on the lower cast people. it is an idea which no party has ever dared to touch in the entire history of free india. in the post freedom era when britishers touched this idea, they were called brutals and india started fighting for freedom, no wonder why this india was always ruled by 5% of so called upper cast people.
muslims support laloo because what he did was a very fundamental fact of islamic society, no body is lower or upper by birth, their places are defined by their piety and deeds. secondly mostly it is muslims who used to suffer because of riots so when riot was checked, they got some relief though there was no progress in jobs and roads, i agree with you. but dont have this idea that muslims support laloo because they are illiterate, you are only misguided by communal forces to think like this.
my own ideas were influenced by free thinking and analysis and i changed my support from cong to laloo and i am a Ph.D. scholar from IIT.
it is better for you to remove your misconception as soon as possible.

"...scholar from IIT"

lol..

Golden, please stop misusing our alma mater's name to justify your personal views.

Going by your comments, I feel you lack cohesive understanding of the issues at hand. On one hand you opine that USA can help Biharis in developing their police force and overall law and order, at the same time you are also advocating Saudi Arabian style justice. Both are diametrically opposite concepts.

You seem to be a fake who is trying to gain some credential by misusing IITs name. On the other hand it is possible that you are the so called "scholar" (lol). After all we IITians are part of the human species and as is the case with others we too have our share of rotten eggs.

This is too much how come we can kill anyone on suspicion? Killing on suspicion means we are killing innocent. Yesterday in Bihar we had very Bizarre incident some Fanatics, anti social elements blocked the road and women had to deliver on Road. Why these did not go there and lynched people who in reality terrorizing community and disrupting normal life?? Why please someone can explain.

i agree with you, mere suspicion should not be the basis of punishment. there must be a fair trail before verdict and punishment. but still:
i wonder that by heart we may hate islam but actually every body thinks in the similar way of reducing crime and that is not thing but islam.
i wonder sometimes how islam will be in power as promised in the holy Quran when every body hates it. but it seems people are bound to love it by nature, only thing is they hate it out of their ignorance as they are mostly influenced by their leaders or their own hatred but naturally they love and desire for islam. just see how this mob punishment is being appreciated in the blog.
truely, islam is the only hope for the crime torn world. islam made saudi arabia a crime free country, we need it every where in the world.

one more clarification to you that every body in saudi arabia is not having oil wells. but no body sleeps hungry there. thanks to islam again. i met so many in usa who have visited KSA and admire just like anything. they say even if you dont earn anything there youwill not sleep hungry. people will share their food with you the moment they see you are hungry and it is meal time. islam has got no substitute. islam is the only hope for this problematic world.

your sick mentality will make you think like that, there is not doubt. yes you are right but you are a fool as well. you cant have two criminal laws in a single country. you can have two personal laws and almost every country has this, it is pity that bjp and vhp take the advantage of our ignorance and try to bring the uniform civila law. that is not possible and no where you will find this. for example how one should marry and what rituals should be followed, can not be uniform. even is saudi arabia hindus and christians marry accoriding to their culture. no body objects them. only those who dont know are influenced by BJP and VHP, no doubt bjp and bhp are the leaders of blinds and ignorants.
now your question, no we cant do what you are suggesting. we cant have two criminal laws in a single country. what will happen if a hindu steals something from muslims. muslim will say chopp his hands off and hindu will say let me go free as our great people too stole in the name of baal-leela. mere thinking of having two criminal law itself is a result of sick mentality. only thing i admired in you is you did not deny the crime free conditions of saudi arabia.

When the British left the muslims had demanded seperate land. They were fortunate(!) to get it however they are yet to convert it into an Islamic state. The very people who opted to stay back out of love for this country, I wonder, what they feel when their offsprings think like this. To a person with jundice every thing appears yellow, likewise the intoxication of religion forbiddens you to look beyond Islam. To the one who has understood the almighty, religion makes no sense at all.

this is the problem with the world mentality. they are crying for the betterment of the world, they accept that this is a bad situation they are living in and they are ready to take any advice to correct it. but the moment they see that the advice is coming from islam their pre-mindset comes into picture and their hatred start showing its effect. nothing can be done to this sick mentality. they are fated to be doomed.

This is bound to happen. Now it is in Bihar....very soon to the rest of the country. This is just frustrations of the citizen for being treated like worms. They have realised that law enforcement agencies / judiciary will not give them any justice. So why wait and waste time.... just give instant justice on the spot. Slowly the whole country is moving towards that. This is all due to wrong governance.

Why all this is happening?
by Sudish Kanodia on Sep 13, 2007 11:25 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This is happening because our jurisdiction system is failing to deliver quality judgement in time. The failure to deliver quality judgement is due to various reasons, but first and foremost is corruption which has enetered our society in a big way and is now taking its toll in different ways, one of which is this. We all are responsible for corruption either in tiny percentage or large. Do not see this incident on the basis of cast, creed, religion or statehood. View it as an desperate and helpless society who wants quality justice at minimum possible cost and time and for this the police and administartion have to do their work efficiently and diligently. Beware if we do not tackle the corruption which has now assumed monstorous proportion it will affect us in still more bizzare ways. We all have to do something.

Lynching In Bihar
by Rajesh Vyas on Sep 13, 2007 11:18 AM  Permalink

Sir:

Why are we shocked at the state of affairs in Lawless Bihar?

Why do we forget that this is the LEGACY OF THE GREAT LALOO PRASAD YADAV and his wife RABDI (AND OF COURSE HIS NOTORIOUSLY LAWLESS BROTHER IN LAWS).

Lynching of a few thieves is but a small price we pay for decades of Laloo's misrule. Also, we are a country where the rich are respected. Salman Khan can mow down half a dozen people in a drucken state and go scot free but How can we let Petty thieves go without punishment.

Have we ever bothered to find out bthe root cause of thievery. I am afriad not.
