Hello, you are talking about India because your leader is part of Delhi govt, moment that goes, he will talk about separate country. Dont forget that your party was asking for separate country till recently and no guarantee they wont repeat the demand.

When people become Irreligious, you will need more money than all that is spent for the past 2000 years in the whole world in the NAME OF DEVELOPMENT to contain CRIME. And 80% of the money will be spent on wars.

There will be only military men and terrorists... no farmers no artists no saints no son no daughters. .. probably that will be your happiest day on earth. ... Think abt it !

existance of ram
by hariharanadha sarma on Sep 13, 2007 12:11 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is ridiculous to say that there is no historical evidence for sethu.Ram may never have dreamt that he may have to prove his existance in future.what a pity.We should be secular but not at the cost of ridiculing our own faith and hurting the feelings of millions of people. For how many events there is scientific proof? dont try to hurt people's faith just because it cant substantiate itself. When there are alternate routes suggested (6 !!) why cant the government take those routes even if it is going to be a bit longer. What if you are going to srilanka late by two hours in a ship? is heaven going to fall on you?is the country's economy going to crumble because of this alternate route ? as long as we remain tolerant to this kind of nonsense these things are going to happen. Now the time has come for all the hindus to raise their voice irrespective of their political motives.

Hi Friends!
by IndiaWiNS ALL on Sep 13, 2007 12:11 AM  Permalink

Hi guys....Ram may or may not have existed...but wats the problem with a bridge?
If Ram existed, then he was a man right?A man is not above other men,but a man reaches a higher pedestal by his actions. We remember Ram as a character more supreme than other beings, because of his actions. So why put his name to shame, when we start fighting against a construction of a bridge?

I think its stupid, and the ASI is correct to say what it found was correct. And Even if there was a bridge made by Ram,so what? The bridge between Sri Lanka and India will only improve economic ties between the countries......n I dont think RAM wil object to that!

Guy start being a little modern.....Ram will be very embarassed to see(if he is seeing) that some guys are still stuck with concepts that he set, say, some million years ago!

I think he was modern and was acting according to the rules of his period, n I believe he will also respect us if we too made changes according to the times in which we live!

Half truth and half lies

There is no historical evidence for many things.
History is an aberration and one cannot destroy historical or even natural places just because right now, right here we do not have evidence.
It is equal to destroying the Bamiyan Buddha by Al-Qaida.
Frankly, I am very much against the VHP RSS criminal nuisance in the name of Ram Setu but this government seems to be full of sick minded, mentally retarded people.

WHO FILED THIS CASE IN THE COURT AND BROUGHT ABOUT THIS SITUATION?
everybody knows that the court provides justice on the basis of law.
WHY WOULD ANYBODY TAKE THIS ISSUE TO THE COURT,IF NOT FOR EXPLOITING THIS SITUATION AND THE RESULTANT STRONG FEELINGSFOR VOTES.
THE BJP HAS BEEN SCORING SELFGOALS AGAINST HINDUISM FROM 1990.

Where are the PATRIOTIC Hindus...MODERATE HINDUS...
by imran patel on Sep 13, 2007 12:09 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Where are the "Moderate" Hindus now ?
Now is religion above the LAW ?
Are you a Hindu or an Indian ?

Respect the LAW. I say we need to demolish all structures that are built illegally on government/private property without proper authorization.

If it is a Mosque/Temple/Synagoge/Gurudwara/Home/Tea Stall...anything...If it is illegally constructed, it need to be demolished.

There is something called "Property Rights" that the government is OBLIGATED to ENFORCE.

Property Rights are fine, but problem is that if they are applied, several Temples and temple towns will become totally under the control of Hindu Religious Institutions.

What is your take on that?

by imran patel on Sep 13, 2007 12:12 AM  Permalink
No one is claiming any temple or any private/government property based on their religious beliefs. You go ahead and worship a Monkey or a Donkey or a Cow or a BULL. I do not care.

But do not claim rights on private/public property based on ur belief. That is the legal argument.

Secularism and communism are two different things.

THE REAL ISSUE IS NOT ABOUT SETHU Canal AT ALL...
by MGR Fan on Sep 13, 2007 12:08 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Sethu Canal is not that much of an issue. The real issue is the Hatred and hate campaign conducted by the DMK party against people believing in God, in last 50 years.

That is the real issue. If DMK relents and agrees to God and agrees in honouring Ramayana, most of problem will get solved.
