Apart from religious factor, there is also scientific/geographic factor that will prove this man-made/natural bridge linking between Rameswaram/Dhanushkodi and Srilanka has been existing for centuries and thereby protecting Tamilnadu's coastal areas from massive Tsunamy attack. These lunatic/stupid/idiotic politicians dont want to accept these facts and realities but very eager to destroy the natural gift. Instead of wasteing money on this useless project, better, we could use this big money to build state-of-the-art infrastructure which will help a lot for our economy.

Sometime back I read in Competetive Success, a magazine that many Group 1 exam takers prepare had secion on persons Past, mentioned Jesus 4B.C Budha ~500BC Mohemmed ~500AD there they showed Valmiki ~800BC and Vedavyas ~800BC as Sanskrit poets, who wrote stories, why didn;t this agitation takes place then? You lnow more thing Valmiki is contemperor of Ram as per Ramayana... how it is possible one who lived 170000years back and one who lived in 800BC can be contemperors? Is History wrong?

I saw that lot of people cursing, abusing Musilms and Christians in this blog. But my dear friend the question of Ram existence is raised by our Hindu brothers, from lot of us speciallt lefties, most of the hindus believes that Ramayana and Mahabharta is just a tale its a myth. We are not strong in our religion, we do not respect our religion. But Musilms and christian do and they give respect and ask others also to do same
The so called secular Congress government and its other minor cronies are inadvertantly raking up a religious issue which is sure to snowball into another Ram temple issue and decimate Congress forever.

ASI is telling that there is no way to prove the evidence with all the available technologies. But dear all, all the technologies are invented on the basis of some thoought process and the thought processes are triggered by some stimulus from our own surrounding. If Ramayana is tought and read for millions of years and the things mentioned in Ramayana have got something matching ( may be coincidentally) like some hidded bridgelike formation between Rameshwaram & Lanka. The place of activity of Ramayana was a vast land covering from north India to Sri Lanka. So many conincidences over such a vast area cannot happen conincidentally. I agree, that presetntly we are not able to prove this scientifically but we must find out (or invent) technologies to prove our own civilization, our treasure instead of proving our long believed culture wrong/ false. If Milton would have mentioned a single word about this in "Paradise Lost" every body could have got cleared on his doubt but we cannot trust Valmiki's or Tulsidas' words. This is pity. Let's start believing our own belief rather than following others belief. Let us invent our ow technologies to prove our belief instead of waiting for other to prove our believes.
