ASI is telling that there is no way to prove the evidence with all the available technologies. But dear all, all the technologies are invented on the basis of some thoought process and the thought processes are triggered by some stimulus from our own surrounding. If Ramayana is tought and read for millions of years and the things mentioned in Ramayana have got something matching ( may be coincidentally) like some hidded bridgelike formation between Rameshwaram & Lanka. The place of activity of Ramayana was a vast land covering from north India to Sri Lanka. So many conincidences over such a vast area cannot happen conincidentally. I agree, that presetntly we are not able to prove this scientifically but we must find out (or invent) technologies to prove our own civilization, our treasure instead of proving our long believed culture wrong/ false. If Milton would have mentioned a single word about this in "Paradise Lost" every body could have got cleared on his doubt but we cannot trust Valmiki's or Tulsidas' words. This is pity. Let's start believing our own belief rather than following others belief. Let us invent our ow technologies to prove our belief instead of waiting for other to prove our believes.
