Not one Indian media ever sent its reporter, conducted secret video of known Islamic institutes, macrasas, organizations, leaders who are engaged in jehadi work.
Bangladesh, Pakistan has become Jehadi center of the world. But for a detailed, on the spot analysis, you have to read (say( the New York Times, not the Telegraph published from Calcutta, the nearest metro to Bangladesh.

Glad to see this interesting discussion staying sane for the most part. Lot of good points are being made, until people start defending a religion (islam, hinduism, christinity).
The key trap we are all falling into is - to bring faith (of any religion) into a reason based argument.
Back when religions were invented, we did not have much law and order. People with leadership skills(Mohammed,Valmiki/Vyasa, Moses) identified this issue and addressed it by giving some guidelines and using a supernatural force(God, Allah etc) to enforce those guidelines. They did not have police back then.
In later days, more leaders emerged and started ammending some of these to address few issues with judgement of their predecessors (all of them made mistakes, no point arguing which religion made fewer, ex: sati-hinduism, most of shariat law-islam, what happened to galileo-catholicism).
The reason why these changes were allowed, is because of tolerance of questioning faith based arguments. Hinduism or Christianity evolved to allow that self-correction mechanism. It seems to me that islam, significantly slowed down that negative-feedback process. I am not blaming any faith here, I am just making an observation. Salman Rushdie(Satanic Verses) and Ranganayakamma(Vishavruksham) are two of few examples that I used to draw that conclusion.

We all understand that most of the people in the discussion are informed enough to realize that not all muslims are terrorists. But Ismail bhai, what we would like to see, is educated muslims like you, willing to respectfully question the faith, when you see contrary evidence.

Yes, Kashmir & even bigger purge of Hindus from East Pakistan (closer to West Bengal, just 50 KM from Calcutta) did NOT move many socalled educated Hindus like us.

Because, Indian Media hardly ever write about those.
Media has an important role to play to give true picture what is happening around us. They never play that role. Political class is mired with muslim appeasement, so never ask what is happening.

But isn't Indian media completely controlled by Leftists and Xians? When you were a leftist didn't you know that media can be biased since all its editors etc are leftists? At the time of independence due to the closeness of Nehru and leftists - they secured all the good positions in all media. And they are intellectuals but of the type of Ravana - although Ravana was a very pro hindu - these people are even worse. So what can be done to expose this state of afairs? How can we remove leftist from controlling media? Do you know anything about it or have any plan whatsoever?

There are many more smart people than me who are 100% dedicated to politics, country from (say) BJP but unable to stop leftists:)-
I think, there is no easy solution. A mass movement, alternate media is to come up if India has to remain democratic, secular and protect Hinduism, Indic culture.
What we call "liberation of Bangladesh" in 1971, was basically massacre of Hindus.
Hindus were some 20% of Bangladesh at that time. But 85-90% killed during that period were Hindus. Obviously, they were targetted by Mullahs, Paki army.
ALAS, MEDIA NEVER MENTIONED THOSE FACTS. NEITHER POLITICIANS. WHOEVER TRIED TO RAISE IT ARE BROW BEATED AS COMMUNAL! As if Hindu life is less precious.

You are right Mr.Mukherjee. America is consist of many nationalities.But they all come under one flag.And American people are not hero worshipers. They are Patriotic and Work hard for the nation.
The government should create a specialised department of motherland security, within the home ministry, whose sole role should be intelligence gathering and monitoring terrorist activities.
There should be proper co-ordination and follow- up provided by the above department to other security agencies.
Reinstate anti-terror legislations like POTA.
The Security forces should be provided latest state-of -art arms and bomb disposal technology.
Special units need to be set up to proplerly render medical facilities to the blast victims, in terms of good ambulances and medical care.
