The government should create a specialised department of motherland security, within the home ministry, whose sole role should be intelligence gathering and monitoring terrorist activities.
There should be proper co-ordination and follow- up provided by the above department to other security agencies.
Reinstate anti-terror legislations like POTA.
The Security forces should be provided latest state-of -art arms and bomb disposal technology.
Special units need to be set up to proplerly render medical facilities to the blast victims, in terms of good ambulances and medical care.
