if you really restudy the quran and start questioning then your mindset will change surely just like me.
In this world, nothing is Unquestionable or perect and we have our common sense to identify which is good or bad.
Most of the things in Islam make us uncomfortable with nonmuslims as we are under scanner or mistrust..

Religions like Hundu, Christian, Budhism etc have emerged to help the human beings and societies know themselves and live in pleace. The Genesis of Islam is totally different.
Islam was a by product of war cry. It has been created and used as a platform for survival in hard terrains with collective efforts by Arab natives. The success of this violant collective created thrist for expansion.
Since the begining of Islam and until last century Islam armies had pursued relentless expansion with great success. Their rule was most brutal and least protested by un-unitable Hindus in India.
Their expansion however, came to an end with the new world order that emerged after first world war and later consolidated by UN and USA. But the Islamic countries have always been trying to revive the expansion of Islamic territories. And, every muslim is made to believe that they are born to serve this expansionism-especially in India where they still rule with the help of Congress and Left parties.
India and Hindus are the softest targets and i dont see any thing that can stop them. Becuase, we in India are never worried-we blink at blasts for a while, yawn and change the TV Channel-thanking god that we are not among those killed.
It is high time that we tackle this menace of Islam with both soft and hard approaches. We should start reforming their educaion system (madaras), give them more exposure and access to scientif knowledge. At the same time we must also take them to
1) Islam is today being portrayed as a peaceful and tolerant religion. History proves otherwise! Though there were certainly periods of relative tranquility and tolerance, minorities and non-Muslims have always been prosecuted under Islam. In fact, Islamic ideology is based upon an intense hatred of the non-Muslim. For Muslims, there exist two kinds of non-Muslim enemies... kafir (non-believers in Islam) and ahl al-kitab (People of the Book). Kafir, such as Buddhists and Hindus, must either convert to Islam or face execution. People of the Book include Jews and Christians. These people need only submit to Muslim authority to avoid forced conversion or death. Although they may keep their original faith, their status becomes dhimmi (a "protected," yet inferior non-Muslim status). So instead of outright forced conversion or slaughter, the Christians and Jews would be allowed to remain somewhat unmolested as long as they acknowledged the superiority of the Muslim. However, as 100,000 dead Lebanese Christians and Israel's beleaguered Jewish population have discovered over the years, these guarantees have proved worthless!
2) The Holy Qur'an (the "Bible" of Islam) was inspired by Mohammed. No one knows his last name because Mohammed could neither read nor write. But one thing is for certain. If I read with Muslim glasses I would be very proud about the achievements that you have mentioned. I also would be very happy to see how others are afraid of me. I would feel we are great, my confience would swell and I would be arrogant and I would pray to Allah to give you a long life to spread this greatness of Islam.

I agree and happy that you atleast understand the true nature of the islam.
Now we are clear that it is not the people but the religion is creating problems in this entire world. So, we can ban this religion from practicie/read or whatever.
Please dont unnecessarily heap falsehoods on a noble person.
Some time ago the media branded Dr.Haneef Mohammed M.B.B.S as a terrorist. But he turned out to be a perfect gentleman. All the secular parties have welcomed him.
Prior to this, Afzal Guru was branded as a terrorist. But they have no proof and it is just a question of time before he is released with honour.I'm sure all the secular parites will then honour him and who knows, he might be givena Padma Vibhushan or even Bharat Ratna.
Few years back Abdul Ma'adani was also branded as a terrorit.But now he has been released an all the secular parties including Congress and Communists are competing with each other to honour this perfect gentleman.
By following these precedents, it is just amatter of time when the people with impeccable secular credentials find that Mohammed Shahid Billal is a great patriot. Long live secularism. Long live Bapuji

first you are some muslim under the name vishvaksehah. because nobody will even think afzal is a human being and he is criminal and should be treated iron hand.
Haneef had link with Terrorist even he spent most of the time with them. So it is natural to suspect him and there is nothing wrong in it.
OK.all non islamic countres has good civilian rights so anybody will be treated equal and law are equal and not like Shariat law which talk differently with muslim/nonmuslims. If this happen in islamic country, his head woule have thrown this time.

You may already know about this one: O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for friends. [al-Ma'idah 5:51.11]
But did you know that there are 123 verses in the Quran concerning fighting and killing for the cause of Allah? Here are but a few passages:
-Muslims are encouraged to be wholly occupied (Sura 2:273) with fighting for Allah's cause.
- Allah will give "a far richer recompense to those who fight for him" (Sura 4:96).
- Regarding infidels (unbelievers), they are the Muslim's "inveterate enemies" (Sura 4:101). Muslims are to "arrest them, besiege them and lie in ambush everywhere" (Sura 9:5) for them. They are to "seize them and put them to death wherever you find them, kill them wherever you find them, seek out the enemies of Islam relentlessly" (Sura 4:90). "Fight them until Islam reigns supreme" (Sura 2:193). "Cut off their heads, and cut off the tips of their fingers" (Sura 8:12).
- If a Muslim does not go to war, Allah will kill him (Sura 9:39). He is to be told, "the heat of war is fierce, but more fierce is the heat of Hell-fire" (Sura 9:81).
- A Muslim must "fight for the cause of Allah with the devotion due to him" (Sura 22:78)
- Muslims must make war on the infidels (unbelievers) who live around them (Sura 9:123).

I understand what you are writing. But see this from Muslims perspective. My fear is that innocent and ignorant Muslims who read or hear this will now feel that it is their obligation to fight for Allah and Kill Kafirs otherwise they will get punished. Even those who were good earlier may turn in to terrorists if the things that you are saying gets lot of propaganda feeling that there is religious sanction for killings Hindus
