You say the PM is a great person...
by Mahesh on Oct 30, 2007 04:53 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

All those that say Prime Minister Dr. Singh is such a great person, see the games played by his government appointed governers. The PM is responsible for all these dirty tricks. He is just another selfish and immoral politician.

Manmohan Singh is a piece of scum. I had high expectations of him since he was a non-political person (rather a person who has not won a single direct election). But he turned out to be worse.

If he was not the finance minister when Mr. P.V. Narasimharao was the prime minister, our economy would have totally collapsed. When he wanted to resign after security scam, the whole BJP leadership went to Mr. Manmohan Singh and asked him not to resign. He showed how beneficial the liberal economy will be. People tend to forget good things very fast.

Governor is just an agent of the central govt. So they are responsible for the governors actions. Let me ask you, why did the governor not impose president's rule? He thought Congress will be able to form the next govt.

with the power struggle the development work has come to a stand still. Bangalore being the highest tax payer city, has very pathetic road and drainage condition. All government agencies are defunct with abundant manpower. Added the people of Bangalore have totally become lethargic, arrogant and most disobedient to all rules and regulations and the law enforcers are mute spectators. It is alarming to note the comment of Ms. Kiran Bedi about the traffic condition of the city. She has suggested to take up the apathy of the government directly with Supreme Court for relief. Traffic and Crime of Police Department have no planning inspite of availability of latest gadget.Traffic management is brainless. Drop of hat, an important road is made One Way. They have not understood the concent of One Way. By making majority of major roads in the city as One Way there is total chaos during peak hours. No where in the world people can see traffic constable controlling traffic by sitting and reading journals and talking on cell phone. They appear and disappear like ghost.
If people do not act wisely in their personal interest and development of State, the days ahead will be nightmare to Bangaloreans.

I agree and bangalore should look at introducing local trains using the existing track. I dont know why they are not trying for this. Metro will take atleast another 5-7 years and meanwhile city will be in choas with all roads becoming into big pits regularly. Presently we have the track

Doddaballapur(Nr new Intn aport) to City, Whitefield, Hosur (Covering Marathahalli, HAL).

They can also run from Kengeri, RPC layout, to city and other places.

Even HAL can be extended to train facility by avoiding lots of buses and other trafic.

Many areas can be covered by the existing track itself, but yes it requires some kind of maintainance..

BJP was discriminated against
by TeraBaap on Oct 30, 2007 03:53 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Whenever rightful claims of BJP will be denied under the name of communalism, it exposes shamelessness of Congress and other constituents and media's silence show they are not interested in democracy. Fractured mandate is always used as mandate against BJP and against communal forces. That's ridiculous.

The Congress party worried about morals when Gandhiji was around. He and a few others like him kept them straight. Today, the baton of leadership is with honest folk like Sonia Gandhi and her coterie. Naturally, we see the consequences.

Congress is seasoned in such manipulations - Goa - Jharkhand ... endless
by S S on Oct 30, 2007 03:50 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Now the Congress has started playing its usual game of If NOT me no one else should. The Congress now says that this BJP-JD(S) formation is illegal and the Governor should not allow such formation. The Governor is an appointee of the Congress government at the centre and the President also belongs to the Congress party. We cannot expect them to act against the wishes of the high command. Now what is going to happen no one can surmise. Had the JD(S) kept its commitment and handed over power to the BJP on October 3, it would have saved at least its image. The Congress taking advantage of the situation, started playing monkey-sharing bread between two cats with the hope that it can devour the whole bread. Apprehending the ingenious game indulged in by the Congress, the JD(S) made an about turn to support the BJP. There are no real heroes in this episode but the one who has come out looking most silly, if not shame-faced and downright deceitful, is Gowda.

Do you know what you are saying MR.JK? Karnataka is part of south INdia and it is the people of Karnataka who elected 79 BJP MLAs and not you or people from Delhi or UP.

Apply your mind before writing anyting on discussion board.

Statement like South Indias are agaisnt Lord Ram is an insult to all Hindus living in the southern part of this country.

It is a misconception that South Indans are against Lord Rama . Ramanujacharya, Yamunacharya and Alvars of South Inda were best of Vaishnavas and are main pillars of Hinduism .How can their descendents forget Lord Rama ?

Greedy politicians

BJP's hurry to grab power is understandable.

While the delay in giving green signal to them for the formation of the government is debatable, it is for sure that their hurry is not to serve the people of Karnataka. When every other party can plunder, why not they?
