Nonsense Joydeb..Bengal is the most stagnant state in India especially when you compare how Bengal was ahead in everything at partition. Bengal was always blessed with high literacy and a very englightened educated middle class. All that is simply history right now. Bengal is dengerated under communists and Bengalis have becoming a bickering, jealous and argumentative bunch of foolhardy idiots. Bengal has recently integrated the madrassa system in its school system and soon it will a new generation of Jihadi Islamists will run amuck with ample help from Bangladesh. Good luck to Bengal though 1
where is this bleady tarun tejpal now ? send him to this state sponsered terrorism and ask him to conduct sting operations . i think the congress government has flodded him with so much money that he does not see beyond BJP ruled states at all shame to this kind of journalism
CPM cannot hope to rule Kerala like West Bengal becos the Christian, Muslim and Nair lobbies have their own political groups to counter the Communist oligrachy with a sprinkling of Congress part thrown in.
More than Congress, it is the strength of the Christan dominated Kerala Congress and Muslim League that is stopping a repeat of West Bengal in Kerala. Nair strength is on the decline. Let Mamata build a similar coalition of anti-CPM castes and relgions and align them into a strong confederation; it will see the end of CPM rule like the collapse of nine pins.

dear sir, this is not possible in WB. caste politics is non-existent here. here it would never be like 'this caste will vote for that party' etc. it is individual choice here that matters. we sometimes don't even know which is the caste of the candidate we will vote for...

Obviously Trinamul is desperate and trying to vitiate the atmosphere by various means including yesterdays false allegations (so much for sincere Mamata) so that the industrialiation drive is halted. And then Mamata will say "Where are the industries, jobs.."

Rahul Dravid is ruled out of the latest cricketing series to be played between India and Pakistan. At this a lot of experts have shown their anger, especially Kirmani, Inzamam Ul Haq and Madanlal. This decision of the selectors is highly criticized in the whole country and has categorized this decision to be a bluff on the part of the selectors.hAVE YOUR SAY AT: http://fhurl.com/b3255
