RE:Reasons to love Narendra Modi
by Lalatendu Deo on Oct 27, 2007 10:48 PM  Permalink
Hitler was also a successful and was effective politician. Yes, he had given his subjects the best administration one could get.

The 'did's of Modi is very much comparable to what Hitler did. No doubt Hitler has got his supports even today. And So does Modi.

BJP-JDS at it again?
by Bodh Ramdeo on Oct 27, 2007 08:54 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

BJP may yet hold the trump cards - they still have those charges pending against Kumaraswamy, which was The mian reason for their earlier parting-of-ways. With this ace-in-the-hole they can pretty-much get the truculant JD-S to go along with their agenda?

Few days back we all abused Devi Gowda and his son Kswami and help BJP in high esteem.
But Now I am totally disappointed with BJP.
If they do it its the dirtiest of political alliances. Kya hoga Is desh Ka.

If BJP had refused to accept the support of JD(S) and gone for election, then JD(S) would have put the blame on BJP for the election saying that they had offered to support BJP but they were not ready to form a government and that they were cowards.I think BJP had no choice but to accept the offer.

New CM Yediyuraappa
by on Oct 27, 2007 08:46 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

How long will this government last, if formed? Kumaraswamy should have handedover the power when his term expired; did he do that? President's rule is the sensible choice. It is sad if we have to face elections but is there a choice. They say democracy has alternatives and choices; true. In India the choice is wasting tax payers' money.

Fresh election will bring same lot. That's why we don't need fresh election.

Now I doubt Congress will allow formation of a government. The puppet (governor) will take care of that for them.

Governor won't allow
by pzipk@yahoo.com on Oct 27, 2007 08:45 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The chances are the Congress appointed Governor will disolve the assembly and call for elections. He will be within his rights do so.

The bottom line is JS(D) showed what a low level scums they are. I am not sure if BJP did the right thing by agreeing to take their help after getting stabbed in the back once. I am sure even if the govt is formed, the scum of scums Gowda will back stab them again.

True my friend, India can be ruled by poeple like Gowdas, Karunanidhis, Jayalalithas, Mayawathis, Yadavs, Rabri Devis and more like them. Gandhi made a blunder by getting freedom; because he did not know Indians but Brits knew Indians.

You are writing here because of freedom. Every country has corruption. Enron's corruption alone is more than Indian corruption put all together.

BJP knows that even fresh election wouldn't give mandate to any party. The same mess, same pact, same horse-trading. So why fresh election?

Power Politics
by Nag Sharma on Oct 27, 2007 08:31 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It's really sorry to see someone like Devegowda still exists in this world. He's one of the dirtiest and evil minded politician India has ever seen. He's one of the main reason for the debacle in the infrastrucutre development in karnataka. All through his life he's done only family politics and meticulously groomed his sons to key positions even though they are incapable to become Taluk Panchayat Presidents..! What to say except praying for Devegowda's exit from this world. There are no eminant leaders in the state and the future of Karnataka is at stake.

BJP had no choice.
by BigDesi on Oct 27, 2007 08:31 PM  Permalink

Congress was hell-bent to come to power by slicing JDS keeping father-son out of play.

JDS saw this coming and opted to go better alternative as going with BJP wil ltake some blame for GREAT betrayal.

BJP had no choce but to join JDS. Otherwise, Governer would have invited Congress to make government. Of course, it might hit back if Governer paves the way for elections.

JD-S is seculat, BJP is non-secular, as it is propogated by its opponents. Then according to simple mathematics the sum must be zero.(opposite signs cencelle out when added).
