I have absolute no trust in either the Tehelka or the Modi government. This might very well be a conspiracy between Tehelka and Modi to bring out controversial issues. The sentiments will help them with political gain and popularity for Tehelka.
What irritates me is that Muslims talk about Gujrat riots without talking about Godhra massacre. They talk about Babri masjid demolition without talking about the Ram Setu demolition. I believe in equality for all irrespective of religion and caste. Are Hindu sentiments less important than Muslims or Christians ? And that too in a Hindu majority country ? Isnt that asking for too much ?
Why didnt the Muslims hand over the land occupied by the Babri masjid for building a temple when offered an alternate land to rebuild the mosque. I have seen the Mathra temple myself and was surprised as to how the mosque overshadows it. Can this be possible in Mecca or Vatican ? Muslim invaders destroying Hindu temples is a historical fact. Not something that RSS / BJP came up with. They are only using these issues for politcal gain. The fact that BJP came to power from nowhere indicates that Hindus wanted the temple. Democracy is about the wishes of the majority. So the majority elected BJP in to power. When the rural population were not happy, BJP were voted out of power. This is how democracy should work.

It just happened so that this guy saw this article and he commented on it like any one of us "privileged" Hindus. It just also so happens that he is a Muslim. I mean, come on! Stop generalizing for all the Muslims because it "just so happened".
And honestly, the hell with Muslims all over the world. Talk to me about Muslims in INDIA. They are INDIANS. We live with them and their children will play with our children and grow up together.
Have you ever gone to a school and separated a Hindu child and Muslim child because their religion is different? Let's not be so short sighted. Religion is no basis at all. Having said that, no one , absolutely noone should be allowed to take law in his own hands. Guilty should be punished. Not hanging Afzal Guru after getting convicted by High Court and Supreme Court doesnt help moderate muslims who expect a fair treatment. This is what BJP thrives on.

Agreed, Don't care about Afzal guru hang him if he has been proven guilty. Kashmir doesn't mean anything to me it has absolutely no religious significance. But dont let the killers get away and be supportive in ensuring that these things do not happen in the future.

I appreciate your decent language. Dont support hanging Afzal guru out of reluctance. Support it to improve the credibility of the moderate muslims. To improve the credibility of our supreme court. The last person hanged after being convicted was a Hindu and Hindus did not oppose his execution.
Do you remember the Shah Bano case ? This was about justice to a Muslim woman. Where were people like you then ?
