Communists are working against National Interests
by vijay kumar on Oct 16, 2007 11:59 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Can these few communist whose existence in this country inly in two states be able to change the foreign policies and speedy growth of the nation. Billions of others people living in this country's wishes can not be supressed.
BJP must announce his support to congress on this deal otherwise existence of this party is questionable. I respect Sonia Gandhi for his desire to take the nation at its peak.
BJP must support in the nuke deal leaving his political ambitions.

eeven if they take support from BJP that would be another reason to pull doen this good gvernement led by Dr Singh. Even BJP was ready to to join with left to pull down the governemnt on this issue. Every body want power, not worried about the development of this country.

RE:UNLESS MODIFICATIONS ARE MADE,BJP SHUD OPPOSE THE DEAL
by gaurav kaushik on Oct 16, 2007 12:02 PM  Permalink
great comments by Mr. Uday bhaskar ....
BJP should rise above local interests and politics in interest of nation. They should offer support to the government so that the deal gets passed. That step can also improve the image of BJP as a national party in the eyes of people of India.

Not happy with this PM
by praveen on Oct 16, 2007 11:53 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Its a shame that we have a PM who can't take any Bold steps. I wonder if he really is a Sardar.

People say he is a Honest man. But i would like to disagree. He is not honest in serving the people of this country. Not honest in make India progress. Not honest in take bold steps. Not honest in making India feel proud. He is only honest in serving Sonia Gandhi.

Mr. Vajapayee within 3 months of becoming PM, make indians feel proud by doing Pokhran. Only after Pokhran, world recongnized India on world Map.

Varghese : Get your facts right man... Don't be so biased and act like a stupid NGO who is on the payroll of an MNC or a vested interest group. Nuclear test might have isolated India for some time and the sanction had little impact on india's impressive economic growth in the last 6~8 years. Do you think if India was really isolated , we could have achieved this kind of growth and be a economic giant in making ?. India had a setback for some time and we learnt our lessons during the so-called sanction regime and the Phokran test made us assert ourselves as a nation and the world started taking note of us. The rest is history. Be proud man. don't try to impose your 'candle light' diplomacy stuff into our heads. Today, Us and other NSG is keen to get a piece of the Nuclear pie that India offers. Today India is negotiating any military deal with strength and on euqal terms rather than begging anybody. Don't try to fool us. We are educated too... Have a good day, buddy..

I strongly support the suggestion of C. Uday Bhaskar because it is in the interest of INDIA as well as INDIANS and not Left Parties.

While negotiating the deal, why Congress didn't ensure the support? Why they kept BJP in side and dark, claiming all the credit?
And now if the deal has come so far, why can't they stick to it? Congress is making mockery of India as well as the deal. They are just playing to show, see we are for it but because of left it's facing all the problem. When you are heading the govt, you should show the statesmanship and bold enough to stick to the ideas you believe in.
If they step back now this will show they were never serious before, it was just political gimmic.

Not for a cost on country's development
by vikram thakur on Oct 16, 2007 11:52 AM  Permalink

You are so right Mr. Prime Minister, there certainly is life after but not at the cost of country's development. You and your govenment have said so much about the importance of the deal and how useful it is for our economic growth and now suddenly just to save your government you decide to put the entire deal into the cold storage. The LEFT is such that they couldn't even come out with any concrete information on why this deal should be scrapped.. I am afraid in no time you will see the entire India being ruled by communists...

Our PM sucks!
by Santosh Nair on Oct 16, 2007 11:49 AM  Permalink

PM Manmohan Singh does not know where to hide his face. If the govt had to crawl before the commie jokers, why did he stake his personal prestige on the nuclear deal some months back? Surely, he must have known then that the commies will oppose this deal tooth and nail. If he had the guts to come this far, why backtrack now? Is it the fear of allies doing badly in a future election, or the fear that the congress itself may do badly? Any govt that is worth its salt should have gone ahead and called the commies bluff. Atleast, then they could have fared better in a future election. Now the PM and the congress have lost face. It is shameful that we have a sissy as a PM
