Nuclear test might have isolated India for some time and the sanction had little impact on india's impressive economic growth in the last 6~8 years. Do you think if India was really isolated , we could have achieved this kind of growth and be a economic giant in making ?. India had a setback for some time and we learnt our lessons during the so-called sanction regime and the Phokran test made us assert ourselves as a nation and the world started taking note of us. The rest is history. Be proud man. don't try to impose your 'candle light' diplomacy stuff into our heads. Today, Us and other NSG is keen to get a piece of the Nuclear pie that India offers.
