Todi is a loving father who has only his daughter's best interest in mind. Though I would believe this guy committed suicide due to pressure from cops and Priyanka's going back to her family. Rizwanur made a terrible mistake by marrying someone so rich and would have thought that is a short cut to being rich not knowing that would cut short his life. I don't think this is an issue of religion or any larger conspiracy to convert Hindu girls to Islam.

If an odd Hindu girl marrys muslim - not such a big deal. Its not a trend as someone has been putting it. The issue is always of caste and class.

u dont know mr anurag.. even if hindu boy marries a muslim gal.. muslims force him to convert to their religion.. they even dont hesitate to murder the boy if he refuses to convert.. this is reality.. don't go by emotions.. I know the fact.. cos one muslim teacher married a hindu teacher in my place in karnataka.. she was hanged in her husband's absence. n also in one more incident one my own relative converted to Islam.. still how many examples do u want mr anurag?!!! is this not enough???? this occured only in a single village of aroubd 1000 population
There are more serious issues than some guy getting bumped off for marrying someone much richer than him. Its unfortunate religious color is given to an issue which has more to do with class divide. I am sure Todi's reaction would have been similar if she had married a Hindu nobody and his reaction would not have been bad if Rizwanur belonged to an aristocratic muslim family. A rich man marrying a poor guy puts his daughter in grave danger as the guy's family would get greedy soon.

I know of Hindu boys marrying muslim girls but that happens in the upper classes and no one really bothers. This is a case of a millionaire's daughter marrying a beggar. I am sure Rizwanur did it for money.

For all the "Galis" we want to give to communists, if there is any hope for the family in this case, it is under Buddhadeb's government. I am not a communist party supporter. But there is no denying the fact that some of their leaders like Buddhadeb are the most sincere and honest politicians that the country can hope to see.

I guess communal colour is wrong but its right to say that Rizwan was a street smart poor Bangladeshi who trapped a simple and rich Hindu girl. At rich families, such as Salman Khan, Sanjay Khan, Tagores, etc. religion does not matter much but here it was a class war.
The way these stupid Commies operate is laughable. These dumbos will have Ramayan bashing sessions on TV, speak about communalism, but have no qualms about opening madressas and encouraging Islamist jihad. Both Marxists and Islamists have a lot in common. They look for all solutions in 'Books' - Das Kapital or Quran, both are totalitarian dictatorships, and both are angry with a penchant for violence.
Let's hope that the CMs' ointment has the necessary medication & works in this case. The ointment comes a bit late but at least it has been applied. Justice should be done and the culprits booked!
