There are more serious issues than some guy getting bumped off for marrying someone much richer than him. Its unfortunate religious color is given to an issue which has more to do with class divide. I am sure Todi's reaction would have been similar if she had married a Hindu nobody and his reaction would not have been so bad if Rizwanur belonged to an aristocratic muslim family
