Stop living in mental colonization!

>>Fascism reverts history.

Under Communists in power, just in 100 years, MORE THAN 100 MILLION PEOPLE WERE KILLED (See "Black book of Communism" by Harvard Univ Press).

Most of those were Minorities.

Only a Commie with NO SHAME can beat the drum of anti-facism, or pro-minoritism in India.

Fact is, they themselves are facists incarnate.

Dear Tathagata Mukherjee,
Though the present CPI(M) is no different from the other political parties, we cannot forget the good work done by them. There is alsmost no caste discrimination in Kerala and the working class is able to make a decent living. Even the muslims in Kerala are not as dogmatic as their counter-parts in other parts of the Country. This is the result of good work done by leaders like of EMS.

You fail to understand brother that CPIM HAS EQUATED CLASS WITH CASTE AND THUS HAS DONE SERIOUS DAMAGE TO THEIR IDEOLOGY (whatever discredited its today, damage was done prior to that).

By the way, in West Bengal, where CPIM is still ruling 30 plus years, caste discrimination is much much less. Even lower than in kerala.

Its NOT because of CPIM. But because of great work done by Sri Chaitanyadev, some 500 years back.

CPIM has politicalized caste - which is most dangerous.

Anyway, in the long run, efforts of Sri Narayan Guru will prove to be MUCH MORE PRODUCTIVE than 1000s of EMSs, as far as caste goes.

Most of these Marxists were fooled by Soviet Propaganda.

Most of these Marxists were fooled by Soviet Propaganda.

From MN Roy to Prakash Karat. However today's CPIM supporters do it as a profession - making money, raise family.

Go and visit rural West Bengal, supposed base of CPIM. You will find every leader worth his/her name has made big houses, put every member of his/her house into some kind of Govt Job!

Sorry state of affairs
by Raj on Oct 09, 2007 01:48 PM  Permalink

Kerala couldn't boast of independent writers, even though it could have had many, mainly because at an young age itself they got sucked into leftist ideology. This was because of a big vacuum left by the freedom struggle, material development in the west and voice of contempt against the local Indian religious belief (systematically and successfully made during the Britsh days by missionaries).
People like Vijayan Sir fall into this category. Later in life when these thinkers found the drawbacks of these ideologies it was too late, as the ego got the better of truth. They couldn't disassociate themselves from it and result is a brain drain and narrow outlook in malayalam literature.
Hope the future brilliant writers can become independent.

Great Man but did big mistake by associating with CPIM!
by sajith marakar on Oct 09, 2007 11:29 AM  Permalink

M N Vijayan was a legendary teacher ! But unlike his colleagues, he taught continuously the society even to the last breath!

The biggest mistake he did in his life is the association with CPIM. Because of that , he had to justify the criminal politics in Kannur. He came out to justify the killing of a school teacher , JAYAKRISHNAN for protecting CPIM. It was a brutal murder committed in a live class room in front of his students in a primary school! Absolute criminal! CPIM has made political mileage using M N Vijayan and he became the biggest enemy to the party when he started to talk against them!

The writer of the above article is also belonging to the same community who support and justify the criminal politics and criminal comrades!
