Devegowda thought he could fool BJP-Ktaka, as he had fooled Dharam Singh and his men by threatening to meet Sonia at the drop of the Hat. Now JD(s) loss is irreversible and only headed for a vertical split. One group will perish with Devegowda and his family and the other align and shine with BJP. The other splinter (siddaramahiah) has already joined Congress. This way Karnataka will pave way for bi-Party system for the first time in Indian history. Do not count TN, since both the parties there are regional ones and they only have regional interests.
Anyone who knows the Humble Farmer will not be surpised about the happenings in Karnataka!! As expected, the power transfer has not happened. The current Chief Minister accuses BJP of being childish and justifies it by telling that the BJP had no patience and should have waited till Oct 3. Everyone knows that till Oct 2 night 8pm, neither declarations nor paperwork was made for the Power Transfer. Then its obvious that any sane human would think that Power trnafer would not take place as expecetd. If Mr.HDK still says that the BJP should have waited till Oct 3, probably thats the way the JD(S) functions I guess!!!! Thorough professionals!!!!
u look at any paper which boasts about achievement in karnataka and what do you see, only bangalore. only bangalore is projected as the most happening city. whereas a few days back there was this huge one page ad in a leading newspaper of tamil nadu brought by elcot or some tn dept. where they have projected coimbatore, trichy, madurai etc as two tier cities where if possible there may be software companies, but will definitly have manufacturing companies. we need manufacturing industries to have a steady growth. how many do we have in karnataka? bhel, toyota, bhadravati iron & steel(started by visweshwaraya "industralise or perish" remember) mysore paper mill, south india paper etc. for the last example, there are about one dozen paper mills only in the pollachi belt itself. dudes we need manufacturing, else we will be dumped sooner or later
Devegowda is a joker. he opposed Metro for bengalore. But it is cleared once his son become CM. Why ? Now work is going on ......? Anybody can guess why allowed this project once his son become CM
It is interesting to see the developements of the Karantaka Politics going on. From my opinion, BJP should not take Cheif Ministership at present since all is not well at this coalition and instead ask to resign its MLAs paving the way for a new election at Karnataka State Assembly and get absolute majority.
