JD(s) heading for a vertical split
by Anand Bharadwaj on Oct 03, 2007 03:00 PM

Devegowda thought he could fool BJP-Ktaka, as he had fooled Dharam Singh and his men by threatening to meet Sonia at the drop of the Hat.
Now JD(s) loss is irreversible and only headed for a vertical split. One group will perish with Devegowda and his family and the other align and shine with BJP.
The other splinter (siddaramahiah) has already joined Congress.
This way Karnataka will pave way for bi-Party system for the first time in Indian history.
Do not count TN, since both the parties there are regional ones and they only have regional interests.
