Gowde's politics.
by rajagopalan nadimuthu on Nov 26, 2007 09:45 PM  Permalink

He has not explained fully in his interview as how his and otherJDS MLA had given given sworn affidavit to the GOVERNOR avering to give unconditional support to BJP to form the govt. What is the sancity for those affidavit ?.They are legal documents punishable underlaw for committing perjury. He had unnecssarily thrusted election on the Karnataka people. He was giving hell to the core to Shri Dharmavir singh when he was the CM and he did not allow him to sleep for a day peacefully . He did not like any one to rule except his family members .He is highly retrogade and antidevelopmental. In the name of secularism he is only promoting his castiest policies. He has put all his men in the top most post in the GOK irrespective of their merits. He was highly prejudiced against any industrialists .So say a few people like INFOYS Narayamurthi,Nandhi infrastructure suffered a lot of humilations and sufferings under him.. If you can read his coalition dharma you may see that he is always used to keep plumb PWD portifolio among his clans. He has no match in entire the INDIA for his partisan approach. In short he is a political Camelion and used to change his policies to suit his conveniences.People should throw him outin the ensuing elections.I have a request to make to Rediff ,pl desist from publishing anything about him but interact with people like KALAM SAB to elicit his views on various issues like Nuke deal ,Nandigram ,SEZ ,MNC's entry into retail market ,combating corruption etc

Rascal
by Anand Bharadwaj on Nov 26, 2007 07:39 PM  Permalink

Devegowda is a rascal. His views are always myopic and whenever he talks about development, it is aboutdevelopment of his own family.
Its time he is shown the place.
Yediurappa has finally tied bell to the cat, earlier Dharam Singh was shuddering by seeing Devegowdas shadow.
With Exit of Devegowda, the politics will definitely revolve on development of state and not on other non-political issues like caste etc.

Devegowda's current position
by Venkatesh Babu on Nov 26, 2007 07:11 PM  Permalink

He is neither a politician, nor an administrator, nor a good leader ... He is just a stuck entity - stuck in all the cob-web that he created.

Mr. Gowda should first come out of this thinking, let him free his mind for some time - he'll then get to know what is really missing, what he should really do.

Almost everyone is cursing Dewe Gowda. No doubt he is at fault. All these views come from white collered intellectuals who judge the person by their outside appearance. He may be bafoon, he may be a sleeeping bull. He may be anything but he is certainly not a fool.

It is Yeddy and his party BJP. Even after playing and loosing the game in UP they negotiated with Gowda in this 20-20 match. This is the most opportunist party in Indian politics. I think no regional party should allow BJP to enter in the state.

Elections are not won by the support of intellectuals but you should have the support of village population. I think Gowda with his image as humble farmer will steal the show from BJP or Congress. Lets wait for Elections and its results. He knows when to open cards at least in Karnataka

Deva Gowdaji saved hundereds of Muslim lives and India%u2019s economy
by poolu on Nov 26, 2007 06:51 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

We all know IT companies contributed more to recent economy growth. Just imagine what might have happened when there was a big communal violence in Bangalore?

If IT workers can%u2019t go to work due to communal violence for weeks all the foreign companies must have stopped dealing with Bangalore based IT companies

All IT workers might have lost their job

Gowdaji averted an economy disaster,
He saved thousands of IT jobs,
He saved hundreds of Muslims%u2019s lives

You may think is crap but we always we never realize until bad thing happens

Until before September 11 2001, hitting tall buildings with aeroplanes might have been considered a crap but now we won%u2019t, same rule applies here!

I whole heartily believe that Gowdaji did a brilliant job.

He is a saviour!

Aree hafim peeke comment karna band karo. BJP ruled the country for 6 years and also currently about 7 plus states are under BJP so by your assesment all IT companies must have exited india by now. This scoundrel Deve Gowda is the worst politician in Indian history. Its sad that this guy was born in Karnataka if at all he had to be born. Its because of rascals like him Politics in India and Kannadigas in particular have earned a bad name. He is the one who asked his son to align with the BJP and then got his son to be CM for 20 Months. Why the hell did he align himself with them, and why the hell did they refuse to hand over power and then go back and offer support and withdraw again. They have made a mockery of the democartic system. I am suprised that these guys will get away scott free after parading their MLA in front of governor and President and also signing individual affidavits. Shame on these guys.

According to you Gujarat should not have / would not have grown after Godhra and the violence , aftermath.

Growth and social tensions should not be confused. World WAr II has not deterred Japan or Germany.

Putting past behind and not manipulating a segment of society is far more important to achieve/ preserve/ distribute the gains made through progress.

Devegowda does not in him a semblance of vision beyond his Padmanabhan nagar residece or adjoining real estate pickings.

wow, wat a question and a answer for that ..... lol.

Your son is saying that he will form a new party...

That is not true; he only said he would take 'appropriate action at the appropriate time.' The legislators are upset; he is trying to keep up their morale. Despite reports to the contrary, father and sons are together (laughs).

a clear mockery of the people of this state. the act of ' naanu hodeda haage maadthini, neenu attha haage maadu '. both father and sons, have taken the poor state ( which they've made ) for granted.

oh God, please save this state from this so called politicians ( businessmen )...........
