This reply truely speaks the popular muslim mentality.

It will definitely help non-muslims to understand muslims. This is the result of secularism and minority appeasement.

Taslima Nasreen has written the truth about how Hindus are tortured, killed and their girls are forcefully married to muslims in Bangladesh.

Definitely Muslims would like to hide this truth.

Hai secular extremist,
Enlighten youself about what Taslima, Karuna and Hussein are doing. Taslima is exposing the truth about islamic bigotism. What hussain and karuna are doing is hate mongering through baseless expressions. There is a clear difference between truth exposure and hate mongering.Status of women and extreme views on other religions are the truths of Islam. Is nude pistures of sita, ridiculing Rama anything to do with truth. If that is the freedom of expression and liberalism, why don't you hang the nude pictures of your father and mother in ur bed room. Why can't you think of viewing your parents in sexual encounters. Secular extremists cannot simply differentiate between truth and hate.

Minority appeasment...
by Topno on Nov 24, 2007 08:44 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

There were some incidents simultaneously. Nandigram murders, riots in Kolkata by Muslims, Bomb Blast by Islamic terrorists in UP and Taslima stays in India.

Out of all these which are more important issues. But interestingly some secular parties are silent about Muslim terrorism, but speaking against a single woman who writes truth about torture on Hindus in Bangladesh.

This is nothing but eye-wash of Hindus in the name of secularism.

These are the worst a.ssholes. They have jumped in, without any rhyme or reason, to get votes...Desperation to return to lost power.

India, thanks to weak and self-centered politicians, is seeing its own Taliban...everybody is a keeper of public morality...Sania Mirza's skirt, Ash-Hrithik's kiss, Husain's paintings, Taslima's writings - for cheap publicity it was first PIL's...now its fundamentalism of all sides...forget democracy or freedom of expression.

Why don't these f*ckers focus on bigger issues - in AP bombs go off every month, and farmers kill themselves or starve...and they don't care.

I want to know where were all the pseudo secularists when MF Hussain was painting naked Hindu gods and goddesses, and naked Bharat Mata. That time it was freedom of expression and artistic freedom!!! So freedom of expression is relevant only when it is against Hindu Gods but not when she writes about Muslim issues. I invite Mr Hussein's creativity to draw something which offends Muslims!!! That will be life threatening no... You cant be creative when you are dead... Right the secularists... and artists..

You are a son of a bi.ch. You are writing the message with changed name?. You are comparing Hinduism with Islam, it is a big joke. Islam cannot revive itself as long as People like you blindly supports its satanic verses. Hinduism always allows changes and its progression is always higher. As long as muslims oppose People like Taslima, the grave yard for Islam is gets deeper.

its a matter of values
by ajit achuthan on Nov 24, 2007 08:04 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

West Bengal government made a grave mistake by sending Taslima out. They failed in upholding one of the values that make a country great and unique, the "freedom on expression". As a muslim or hindu or christian believer has the right to question the thoughts of non-believer, a non-believer has the right to question the tenets of religion. If a believer thinks that making a derogatory comment make their religion loose its esteem, then what kind of religion is it?
By bending their knees to the religious group (religious people are fundamentalist to a certain extent) as a country, we are making a grave mistake, similar to a mistake we did in the begining of Kashmir terrorism, letting terrorists free in exchange of the daugther of a cabinet minister..Now, we know how much we payed the price for it..

i am not a supporter of CPI(M) but i think they were surprised by the turn of events. if you read the papers, you will note that the protests against taslima took them by surprise. as it is they are getting hit over the nandigram issue, so probably they hesitated in crushing the protests. also, they though that issue will die down and she ill come back. dont blame everything on them. i am just offering a theory. but what i cannot understand is why the protests took this turn. Special Vranch has no clue that ths would happen. could be bcops outsiders came in at the last moment.
