World has seen that everywhere communism has failed. And if not failed it has not been a major ideology more. People wants liberty, growth, money everything which wasn't possible under communism as it doesn't recognize liberty in true sense.
All these bunch of crooks has left with is opportunitism.
The basic of Communist ideology is economic equality of all irrespective of caste, religion, race, work etc. And its unfortunate that they supports quota on the basis of cast and religion and even doesn't mention economic backwardness while supporting it. Its really painful. And this is what opportunitism is.
Only thing that goes in favor of our communist leaders is that they are not tainted and corrupt. Perhaps because they had nothing to corrupt.
But still they are sticking with a failed ideology just for the namesake.
Most newspapers had already reported long back that the Left will allow the Nuclear deal to go through in exchange for the exclusive right to slaughter hindu bengali villagers in Nandigram. You are late Rediff.

Awwww! You are a confused Hindu Taliban. It's gotta be some kind of a sameside then since a lot of Hindu CPM party workers were involved in the slaughtering at Nandinigram! Didn't CPM also kill a Muslim boy in Kolkata? Or was he a terrorist?
With USA taking BJP in confidence on Muclear deal and BJP now asking for a floor vote in Parliament, Left would have no stand left and no weapon left if BJP voted and backed Congress on deal. A BJP-Congress team would have left Left isolated and humiliated in Parliament. Second reason is BJP stepping up it's attack on events in Nandigram. That Congress has for the first time avoided playing dirty in Karnataka and let BJP form Government is a sign of both parties coming together for the Nuclear platform trade off. Congress has also traded off it's silence and inaction in Nandigram to get Left support on Nuclear Deal as Left is increasingly losing face and support over their actions in nandigram and stands the prospect of a Trinamool-Congress and BJP opposition. It is it's image battering in nandigram and the prospect of BJP-Congress getting together with coming electoral backlash in WB that may work in Congress favour that has made Left cosy up to maintain Central support and to keep one end of opposition quiet.
The left initially claimed that the agreement is against India's ntional interest and now they have agreed for the same. They claim they have understood certain clauses on which they had concerns through discussions and hence gave the green signal. If their grasping power is so poor why the nation should suffer
Left Ideologies : 1. Equality in rights. How? Wants OBC quota to be given on caste basis and not economic criteria. 2. Wants Kerala and WB to be free of any environmentally polluting industries. But wants India's power need to come from the polluting Coal based plants and not mre environment friendly technologies such as Nuclear power. Real Farce. A bunch of Jokers who happen to be king makers by chance.
Leftists ideology may have been relavent many many decades back, but is of no use in the current world. It is even more exemplified by the irrational stance (or rather the lack of) taken by them. Their only aim is to be being in power in Kerala and WB and they would not like to agree with the Cong on nuclear issue, so that they can show these people that they are against the Cong in centre. This party needs urgent dissolve. A bunch of old and inefficient fellows who can take India back 50 years in just 1 year.
