MP Prakash The Real Story.
by GSB on Nov 09, 2007 09:54 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

There are only two things that every "would-be-politician" and journalists in karnataka have to say behind the scenes about MP Prakash. Choose which ever story you want.

Story 1:
MP Prakash was never known for any kind of bold maneuver all his life not even once. And he himself has declared that he would not continue in politics past this term. The only reason he
crossed the line was just to check if he could be a CM for the shortest term possible, so that he could be refered to as Ex CM of Karnataka for ever. And probably enjoy power till it fades.

Story 2:
Gowda not being able to negotiate with any one directly and having found that they would take a beating in elections decided that it would be right to support BJP even for a short(est) term, and since BJP walked away without negotiating and congress trying to split JDS, Gowda convinced MP Prakash to enact al this Drama and become CM if things work out !

How can MP Prakash be honest? Quite frankly every single person in JDS is dishonest, And BJP has a extremely good understanding of this and they are going to form a governament with Gowda and then accuse congress for all ills in the country !

It has become a fad in BJP ( and supporters ) to accuse congress just to cover their own wrong doing. How on God's green earth can BJP accept that they are tying up with Gowda for greed of Power !!

Long Live Congress.

M P Prakash not trustworthy
by SJD on Nov 09, 2007 08:48 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

M P Prakash not trustworthy. He said the same words saying that he won't join in the government. Later he joined as a home minister. He is a power greedy. I'm sure next election people of karnataka will teach a lesson for people like gowda's clan and M P Prakash.

Sour Grapes
by Vinal Gandhi on Nov 09, 2007 08:35 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is a clear case of sour grapes for Mr. Prakash. Where was this eternal wisdom of him when JD-S was in power? He tried his best to become CM by siding with Congress. Now that he is left with no supporters (even his so called 16 MLAs ditched him), he is acting like a saint. There is too much common between him and the BJP dissidents in Gujarat. These guys are nothing but power hungry wolves. Sorry Mr. Prakash. But you have lost. Admit it and stop playing a martyr.

Very true! Prakash is talking about renouncing power. But how can you renounce power when you don't have it. The fact is that he did not renounce power but he lost the race to grab power. He is a defeated man like Deve Gowda. JD-S MLAs don't listen to these oldies anymore.

all this thing r decided 20 months before tht after 20 months tenure power should be trasnferred to BJP. by this 20 months he didnt open his mouth abt the the support which BJP gave their government(when BJP supported gowda's government tht time all this people dont know this BJP is secular party etc., or wht??? after 20 months enjoyment in minister post now they dont want to give the power to BJP these are the mere facts.)when BJP support they will accept and form a government but at the same thime BJP want thier support tht time only all this people speak abt secularism and safety of people etc.,
one think is for sure either BJP, JD, or congress none of them r going to help peoples just want to be in power and earn money......this is the ultimate concern for any parties in our country.

You really cannot compare Gowda with Chanakya. Gowda has no credibility. He was humiliated since his tricks backfired and he was forced to tie up with the BJP. Gowda is a defeated man. Even his own party MLAs do not support him. He is no Chanakya, he is the but of jokes.

I agree with Prakash that the power transfer should have been done gracefully. The same power transfer happened but after Gowda was humiliated.
