Once President rule is imposed, it should remain till the completion of the assembly term. The bureaucrats/technocrats can rule the state and they can do a better job. At least the politicians' corruption amount will be less. And also the horse trading/hijacking MLAs/buying/selling them will not be there. Forget about constitutional provisions or amend it suitably; after all constitution is to protect the people and country. It is not for the enrichment of few hundred rogue politicians at the cost poor people.

Then y not let the so called "capable" bureaucrats rule for the whole time. Y hold elections at all. Dude, its the constitutional right of every Indian to elect his representative. Dont just blame the politicians for the twisted process. We the people also should shere the blame. With just 30-50% voting in urban areas, the unwanted junks (read corrupt politicians) are bound to come to power. And BTW, the so called "capable" bureaucrats are the worse breed. BJP seems to be high on drugs first it was Praveen Mahajan's Son , Now it is Jashwant Singh... Just imagin if it was Congress by chance, the entire BJP ( and Supporters ) would have posted all kinds of comments on TV and net... now they are keeping silent.

It has become a hobby for BJP and BJP supporters to accuse Gowda & Sons every minute, ( If you dont believe me please check all the posts on rediff in last 25 days ) After all this BJP will form a govt with Gowda's support, My question is why this double standard? If you are pissed off with him go face elections why are you joining hands with him?. Also BJP supporters think by accusing Gowda they can shift the blame on to him.. this is pure bull, everyone in Karnataka clearly understands this, And very soon BJP will be exposed.
Yedurappa was all smiles when he was with Deve Gowda last week , just a few days back he was in a rally along with other BJP top shots accusing Gowda & sons, the way it was going I thought it was end of BJP - Gowda relationship but the shameless guys are back at it.
Trust me in the comming elections BJP and its supporters will trash Gowda & Sons and just after the elections are declared entire BJP will be in Gowdas house begging for support.
And what do these BJP people think? Gowda will let them have a free run? Daydreaming should have limits.
Though it looks like Congress is loosing at the moment, they will in fact be the biggest beneficiaries of the current events. People of Karnataka will get fed up of this nonsense and will ultimately vote for Congress.

Like you said "daydreaming should have limits" - and right now you've way exceeded those limits. Remember Congress is the one who abused leftists at every turn, and then joined hands with them to grab power at the centre (and are paying the price now every single day). Another Freudian slip in your msg is about 'BJP...will trash Gowda & Sons'! Ha, ha, and I think that's what will happen to Gowdas eventually (and to Congress everywhere!).
At least these MLAs who defied Gowda have the guts. Sanjevani is reporting that Gowda's son, HD Revanna tried his best to physically prevent some of the JDS MLAs from going to New Delhi. He failed. He is so upseet that his own party MLAs are pushing HDK to be the deputy CM, not Revanna. Now he knows where he stands.
The game of numbers is at its devilish best (or worst?). It's said, 'majority opinion need not be the ultimate truth'. But in a democracy that has become the decider. There are always 40 thieves pitted against one Alibaba. So who reigns? The thieves.So the BJP-JDS combine parades its thieves to loot the State of Karnataka. I have heard of criminals being paraded. This is something like that. It's better to take their finger prints and record their voices because these people are most unreliable and they would deny what they say. The President of India must curse herself for this evening when she has to see the number game! Unfortunately, there does not seem to be any escape.
Governer's duty is to call the legislature party Who is having simple majority in assembly of Karnataka. It may be congress or BJP. It is not his duty to check whether the government will survive full term or not, and mejority should be proved on floor of the assembly not in Rajbhavan. Assembly kept under suspended animation to found alternate government but not to desolve. If Gov wanted to desolve the assembly he should do immediately after fall of kumaraswamy govt, that time every party (BJP,CONG,JDS)demanded for desolve of the assembly. Governer's intetions are very clear, he wanted to install Congress govt. by keeping assembly under suspended animation. If congress claim to form the govt with the help of Mr.M.P.Prakash of JDS, by now there is cong. govt in KARNATAKA. Congress is always anty democrocy which imposed Emergency in 1971.
