Pakistan fools international community
by apjunkmail on Nov 04, 2007 10:36 AM  Permalink

Musharraf has turned it into an art on

how to fool the international

Community into giving billions and

Keeping him in power. All complete

with well choreographed acts like

assassination attempts, blasts, raids

into waziristan, nukes in danger,

Osama sacks islamabad etc.. etc.. When

the fact remains Taliban till today is

a wholly owned subsidiary of pakistan

ISI with the objective to control

Afghanistan and be the reason for west

to pay billions of $$ in rent/aid to

Pakistan Army which includes Talibans

salary supplemented by drug trade.

Pakistan was , is and will be ruled by their

military covertly or overt is not really

relevant.

You are completely wrong.. we always want a stable country sharing our border.. all this is not because of India's curse to Pak.. they are eating the fruits they grow.. it is because of the double standards of Mush, also because most of the Pakis support jihadis and militants.. anyway its not new to Pak.. this happened many times in Pak.. all military rulers used it.. and Pakis never learn from the previous expr.. one thing is very clear.. no islam country can become true democratic..

well done General, I swear I was expecting this to happen and this has happened for all good reasons and for the betterment of the comman man of Pakistan.Your step also goes on to show that democracy is not something it is claimed about, wherein the so called advocates of democracy keep filling in their pockets, goverment servents go on rampage to suck out the blood of commam publiic, poors get poorer and richs and richers averyday that passes by. Finencially weaker section is never secured socially.Democrecy is good if it is in healthy shape. It was sad to see that the chief justice of pakistan was not acting as chief justice but more like a poltician joker. Any way it is good lesson you have tought to the politicians and the judiciery system of pakistan.People in pakistan have been suffering no matter wether it was democracy or military rule. But then why to show the world the drama of democracy? Hope you will bring some much needed discpline particularly amongest the pakistani politicians and in public generallly.

Dear Nitin
Infact the general thinks he is above pakistan and above all laws , justice chodhary is a man of law and he was working under the costitution.
What democracy gives is evident is the difference in india and pakistan. The people of pakistan donot know the meaning of democrcy, a peaceful mechanisam oftransfer of power , which no body understand in pakistan, that is why these dictators and emergency are imposed.

Half a million Pak army is indeed useless against the jihadists ..... this after all is the same army, 90,000 of whose troops surrendered in Dacca in 1971 without firing a shot.

From 1971 to 2008 it has been almost 40 years. Pakistan has acquired nukes and F16s. It has a navy and latest missiles technology gained from China and North Korea. Lets face it. We cannot go to war with Pakistan like 1971, the stakes are too high for us. What have they got to lose ? There is no doubt we will win the war but at what cost ?

"play with better players you will become better", really liked this sentence.. may be PAK know this so they are always playing with us, sending terrorist, being host to the Dawood kind of people and we never able to counter the moves done by them.. do the Govt of India listen and act.. they are busy dealing with left and Karunas.. very unfortunate situation in deed..

Whats the big deal ?
by Arun Kumar on Nov 04, 2007 10:05 AM  Permalink

I dont understand whats the big difference it will make to Pakistan ? There was no democracy anyways...Musharraf is ruling Pakistan for the last seven years and he will continue to do so. Whats the big deal in imposing emergency. Everything is the same...all the assemblies are in place and day to day functioning of the govt is also not affected. This emergency only says that you cannot remove Mushy from power. So what?
