Mr. Bhadrakumar assumes a defeatist tone. We need analytical framework which would enable India to exercise its options to shape the events and improve security climate in the subcontinent. The pre-condition for that is genuine democracy in Pakistan and restoring the supremacy of the Supreme Court to interpret the Constitution.
Particularly US and UK got to get a clear message that any effort to assuage Military rulers and prop military law there would be interpreted as neo-colonial stance. This would put to rest any N-deal and any pretense to common security architecture.
Any overt or covert support to the illegal military establishment would make the Iran angle of US politicians lose all credibility and be treated as a joke by most Indians.
We aspire to be a member of Security Council. A good way to begin is to hold the veto at the ground level. If there is any deviation from democratic values and norms to cater to material interest, let such policy makers be wary of Indian takkar.
There is no need for Indian PM to sing US tune, his last name has an 'H' in it.

My dear friend, a stable pakistan is also in favor of India. But this will happen if Pakistan keeps repeating the Kashmir issue. Whats the country doing by having a budget spending on Military more than 70%. And then where's the revenue model? Its either Bush or Brown who are giving Pakistan the money to make nukes. Very unfortunate. If things are to be believed this very US and UK are going to back stab Pakistan for they are only interested in their interests and not in other nations' interests. So food for thought.
The US and UK is playing their two-faced games as usual. On one hand they will sing about democracy from roof tops for the public to hear while encouraging dictators to do their biding. Nothing surprising since that's what they have been doing all over the world to further their interests.

You and your dope smoking liberal news agency never realize that some people in this world wants live in caves and ride donkeys as to satisfy their religious scripts than to have democracy. It is not our fault that they are having problems and their leader is cracking on islamo-fascism.If he is our friend and wants help in eliminating this menace on the face of this planet then whats wrong with our support to him.
