Pakistan, traditionally has been surviving only on anti-India rhetoric, which even today they don't seem to understand, will spell a doom for themselves.
Rather than working for the well being of its population, it has devoted all its time and resources on anti-India activity, some of them are listed below:
* Creating and sustaining terrorism to trouble India in J&K.
* Supporting Talibans in Afghanistan with the aim of using Afghanistan as a training and recruitment ground for terrorism, again with the aim of creating headache for India in J&K and in other parts as well. You will reall because of this proximity only, the hijacked Indian Airlines plane was made to land in Kandhahar. The Talibans, now driven away from their homeland, are now accommodated in the border areas of Pak close to Afghanistan.
The above two points have started creating problems for Pakistan within Pakistan. If you grow snakes in your backyard, to terrorise your neighbours, one day the snake will definitely bite you!. This is what is happening now in Pak.
Crores of amounts are being diverted to Defence, Nuclear material, ISI, etc. all these with the same old attitude 'anti-India'.
Pakistan will only prosper if they come out of this anti-India mentality and work for the betterment of its people in the true sense. Otherwise, it will race towards its doom, sooner than later.
Let the musharaff fkr perish rotten, why bother? All these talks when they is considerate about us. Now bomb was exploded in Assam w/ support of ISI & Bangaladesh & might be chinese help?

Gen Zia ul Huq told MJ Akbar [then editor of Sunday defunct weekly] in 1980 that Islamic shariat does not mention about democracy, therefore in Islamic states there cannot be any democracy. Therefore, in true spirit, more than a decade earlier in Nov Dec 1970, when Awami League under Mujibur Rahman swept polls and secured overall majority in un-divided Pakistani Parliament, the Punjabi - Sindhi dominated political and military class did not want to respect electoral verdict and transfer power, and chosen to crush East Pakistan population, who in turn revolted and proclaimed Independence as Bangladesh, resulting in historical surrender by Lt. Gen Niazi with one lakh soldiers on 16 Dec 1971 to Indian soldiers and Mukti Bahini. Democracy in real terms will ever remain mirage in Islamic countries and Pak cannot be exception.
Pakistan is at an inflection point. If it democratizes (and the phenomenon around Justice Chaudhry is actually a very positive one), things will get better over time and the country will be less and less fragile, and more and more at peace with itself and with India.
Musharraf has two options - he can try to entrench himself in power (which is what he seems to be doing, and which can never succeed) or he can do something unexpected - battle the extremist elements and secularize the government in a gradual way, while creating increasing space for political play to resume. Surrender on the Justice Chaudhry issue, so that he wins the war of history.
India needs to be extremely sensitive at this time. Avoid doing anything that can push Pakistan into even greater fragility.

i disagree with you mohan...reason is that democracy doesnt work in any muslim country. Because when democracy comes...religious mullahs tries to run the country by religious rule and politics and religion can never work together. I think when musharraf goes, pakistan will be a huge headache for the world..especially india and usa as it will most probably become another afghanistan...extremism at its worse...

So, what's your plan? Have them collapse and have the nukes in the hands of the crazies? Imagine the Taliban sitting next door to you. They will be murdering away internally, but also launching endless terror attacks on us. Think the current problem multiplied by one hundred - not even counting refugees. You're just being emotional, not smart. If Pakistan or Bangladesh implode the consequences to India are really, really bad. I highly recommend that BBC documentary: Between the Mullahs and the Military http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srhnIgYb65M

Thats exactly what India should try for!!The moment nukes fall into Taliban.. Before they can read the manual how to operate..even if the impotent hindus cant do anything, the christians and jews under US and Israel will nuke the shit out of pakistan
