I don't see any difference between Saddam Hussein and Karunanidhi, Saddam's sons and Karunanidhi's sons. Saddam and his clan is not alive though, God please save TN and TN people from these ill clutches. I wish to add that Maran is no good and he doesn't need any symapthy, always striving hard to build his empire and wipes off other who act as block to his personal development. These guys try to bring in tyranny in TN. Maran's want to control the entire media atleast in South India and we can smell something ill happens by the way they get new news each and every day, he reminds me of Elloit Carver egotistical media baron of 'Tomorrow Never Dies'.

It is time for Tamil Nadu to understand that regional parties should be boycotted and they should help promote national Parties.
The situation in the country today has really become depressing therefore the congress Govt. should vacate the seat for some other Govt. Most of the poverty stricken people are finding it hard to survive as the prices for most of the commodities has risen sky high. These people can only beg as they do not have jobs and the Govt. is not spending tax payers money to help them to overcome their problems. While most of the Govt. officials are sitting on their chairs and making money. All the task for improvement of amenities to tax payers is not being fulfilled. Therefore this Govt. should immediately vacate and give someone else a chance.

The call rates have reduced to the lowest rates in the world. Wi-Fi zones are comming up in mumbai, chennai ...Major IT companies who otherwise would have gone to China have invested in India ... Maran definitely shares credit for all this.
Being one among the Younger generation of Ministers to have been inducted into ministry, IT and Communiction Industry truly withnessed growth underhis leadership. It was not a positive sign at this stage for him to step down.
He was just a 'Chief Marketing Officer' for Tamil Nadu. Look at the amount of telecom and technology investments that came to TN during his tenure and compare it with some other period, you'll see the difference. I am not being egoistic, but I myself heard him at a NASSCOM conference last year where he openly invited telecom and tech firms to invest in TN. Is this not wrong when one is supposed to look after investments across India?
Have you ever heard him inviting people to invest in places such as Rajasthan and Gujarat, which are fast growing locations? Its good for India, especially for states other than TN.

Next steps for Citizens Even if we Maran as Biased and even if we say the growth was mainly in TN.. it is still seen across india.. some others have commented on Dynasty and it is very true, possibly it is in transition to go from dynasty to a 'leader who can perform'.. this guy though little selfish, was still performing.. remember at 35 years of age.. possibly this break from DMK could be a start for him and his brother if they are real professionals to take ahead.. so the agenda could be a] yes DMK should go, for running empire-ism with their own family b] maran & CO can start their own or coaliation party and leave it to the public to judge. c] bring the 2nd in line of Maran upfront to be the cabinet minister [as such the growth would not have come with maran alone] these steps shoudl pave the way for a cultured, professional and then to a DEVELOPED INDIA!! LET US MAKE THIS HAPPEN AS CITIZENS..
We Indians have not changed even a little bit. We have grown up studying history of Gupta Dynasty, Mughal Dynasty, Rajputs, etc. etc. Now its turn of our children to study of Gandhi Dynasty, Scindia, Thackery, Patnaik, Mufti Mohamamed sayed, Chautala, Devegoda and many more to come. Its time for us to stop going by just the name or charisma associated with the surname, We should choose the leader by work. Any leader like karunanidhi who forces their idiotic sons on to politics should be thrown out. Karunidhi is the best example of modern Drithrashtra who expels his nephew (Maran- a real good minister for the country) because of his sons poltical ambition. While there is no action against his own younger son responsible for killing 3 men.
