Rediff, thank you very much for filling my day with joy and I am sure to every one, who one way or the other are concerned with status of Bihar.
After hearing so many things against the people of Bihar and Bihar per se from fellow classmates/colleagues/travellers and anyone who are totally unrelated or unaware of the situation passing not bad but exaggerated wrong comments, this piece of constructive journalism helps each one of us(Biharis or Indians).
Please do not stop good works and my best wishes to your portal.

Very well said Abhiraj. I am also one of the those who has studied in a situation not much better than the one described in this article. When I went trough this article I was simply overwhelmed. Thanks to Rediff publishing this article and thanks to Nitish Kumar for changing the face of my beloved state. We all should join our hands to extricate our state from backwardness and show the world that Biharies is poor but no way criminal-headed and we have the ability to perform as good as the people of any other state in any of the fields.

these things happens in all rural part of india...not only in bihar. The heading should have been "A day in the life of a school in rural India"
Dear Friends , We must thanks to REDIFF , Unfortunetly due to arrogant nature of our other state people some of the messages went ABUSIVE ! We Bihari must learn to TOLERATE people with less exposure !
A true piece of journalism....it shdn't stop here, all the readers must do their bit. For most of u guys..spending 10-20000 Rs on a school will not be much...wid dis money u can atleast provide some books or new cloths to new entrant in a school.... This is pay back time guys......
Such articles help in nation building... I see that Bihar is not that bad a place which it is made out to be.. For eg what is wrong in studying under a tree or students themselves helping cleaning the campus or toilets.. Nitish is a far better person to help Bihar rather than Lalu.. Education in itself may not be enough.. We also need to create jobs for them.. And these students shouldnt shy from helping their parents in the fields..

Very True. Nothing wrong in cleaning your own toilets and classroom. Infact this makes a person much more humble and understanding.
