Is Nandigram a seperate nation ????...whr police cannot patrol !!!!.... For kind information to all ..the police were not able to enter Nandigram from last 30 days... Whatz dis ?? U cannot hv ur own Independent nation status dere ...!!! I am sure the marginal farmers in India meet the same fate... malnourishment...disease ... under heavy debt and finally suicide.... look at Maharastra , Andhra . The industrial development is the only panacea to all ills. MAMATA and some irresposible rascals are pushing Bengal to become another Bihar...with no employment oppurtunity and plenty of cheap .. exploitable labour for other states , if not already there. I feel sad for West Bengal... such a self destruction is seldom seen. Moreover ... how this farmers ( ????? ) exchange bullets and bombs ... is land of Nandigram is so fertile..??? grows bombs too...

My dear Allen. You are jus a mad commi. There was no bullet injury on police personnel. few of the police personnel injured by stone pelting not bomb or bullets. although bullets were fired on farmers by police and communist gundas. some bullets injries are not of 303 but country made weapon on farmers. These are the weapons from communist gunda elements. They fired on stone pelting farmers with bullets. I was there for reporting my dear and you are talking the same way as all communist dictators are talking. They always blame capitalist and communalist element to ignite farmers. Please be fair and human.

yes I agree. Same thing happened in Uttarakhand. For industries thousands of acres of land has been converted into factories. Thousands of acres of land has been turned infertile for earth filling. Thousand of acres of fertile land has been convereted into colonies.
The police hits farmers with bullets on their heads to keep "law and order"!! The great CM Buddhadev is dying to stir up "industrialization" in the state where their party have taken pains to halt development and industrialization all these 30 years of their rule. Country's best jute mills and tea estates are shut down to name only a few. Hundreds of mill workers have degraded themselves to picpocketing to earn their living. Can't the CM see that such enormous land is sitting waste under these shut down factories, that they have to rush into the villages to capture farm land? Worst of all, there are no strong opposition parties in Bengal to keep the ruling party on its toes. Probably after 30 years of CPM's rule they have ensured this as well. I don't have any faith in "CBI probe". Its nothing but a govt controlled body. Again it will be those in the power to choose what to reveal and whom to blame. But I still believe in the common man's feelings, that has definitely got a blow after this ghastly incident.
Kolkata, March 15 (IANS) Dubbing the police firing on villagers at Nandigram as unconstitutional, the Calcutta High Court Thursday ordered a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry into the carnage that led to the deaths of 14 people a day earlier.
A division bench of Calcutta High Court headed by Chief Justice S.S. Nijjar and Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghosh asked a CBI team to immediately leave for Nandigram, 150 km from here, to probe the firing and submit a report.
Taking suo motu cognisance of a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) by a group of lawyers, the court asked the CBI to constitute a special team to probe the firing and also asked the state government to file an affidavit on every detail of the incident.
The court asked the CBI to file a report within seven days on who ordered the firing, said lawyer Kalyan Bandopadhayay, one of the lawyers who moved the PIL.
"The court dubbed the firing unconstitutional," Bandopadhayay said.
It also asked a human rights organisation - Association for Protection of Democratic Rights (APDR) - to reach medical assistance to the Nandigram villagers, Bandopadhayay said.
The violence at Nandigram was brought to the notice of the court Wednesday with the West Bengal government informing it about the police firing following a directive from the chief justice.
At least 14 people were killed and 39 injured in Nandigram Wednesday as police opened fire to quell mobs and retake the area they lost control of in January after unrest over acquisition of farmland for a special economic zone (SEZ).

I think Bengalis are most seek minded people in whole India. They dont work and also dont allow other to work. Still they like to believe that Bengal is best place to be in while in reality it is the worst place in whole india including Bihar. Bengalis are totally undemocratic people with no regards for law and order in general, otherwise how can u justify same govt elected for more than 30 years.

Yes, more than 500% correct. The intellegent society of bengal enjoys the juice under the shed of communists. Its not 20 years. Its 30 years. If Saddam is executed, they make a "dharna mancho". If people of bengal die everyday in the hand of communists, they are in the cold room. Where is Sunil Gangopadhyay, the most barbaric face of Communists supporter in Bengal. communists stopped english, again retuned back after 25 years. stopped computers. now backed after 24 years. stopped industries, now became mad to bring back after 30 years. and so on.......

there are other way you can make a state progressive .it's not the right way to do by killing innocent people
Finally CPM is getting a taste of its own medicine . this is what they taught entire bengal that anything what the govt does or any industrialist is doing is wrong and must be opposed off .Thats why so many industries closed in W.B in last 3 decades . Now they( the public in Bengal) are giving it back to CPM only . SO for all this its entirely CPM fault , may not be their present policies but their previous policies.

the Govt need more FDI to initiate companies. So they must proudly becoming Slaves to WTO and US. Here there is no difference between BJP,Congress, CPM, CPI and all vote begging parties. so there is a need of revolution under the leadership of Naxals.
otherwise no one will save our country and people.

please think twice before u talk....if naxals are the answer...then we will become like Africa...full of civil wars...naxals cannot be the answer and they can only be a problem...
it is atrocious killing the people saying the name of 'development' what development we are talking about at the cost of the lives of innocent people? why we have to blame anyone else whether it is muslims or naxals or the opposition party for the inhuman behaviour of the so called Communist State? it has the responsibility to protect the interest of the people, thier lives and not killing them.
It is street talk in West Bengal that once honest CPM workers and Leaders are highly intoxicated due to heavily bribed by Capitists and Realtors, therefore CPM today is corrupt from top one position to mohalla level. As if CPMs has sold their conscience.
