Bhopal, March 09:: The Hindu fundamentalist organization Bajrang Dal has claimed the responsibility of the blasts in the two coaches of the Lahore-bound Samjhauta Express (the train between India and Pakistan) on February 19 that killed about 67 Persons.
This sensational revelation has been made in the threat letter, received at Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Hind headquarters in New Delhi as well as at its Mumbai office, wherein Bajrang Dal has claimed that the blast that ripped two coaches of the train was carried out by it.
The said letter is unsigned, typewritten in Marathi, and even the address on the envelop is typewritten. The letter wondered whether the Jamiat people had forgotten the blasts carried out in the country earlier.
"We had warned you against being pretty wise and holding large conferences. But you people didn't pay heed to our warning and held a large gathering at Malegaon on February 17, 18 and 19. We would have exploded the bombs therebut the explosives were seized in Mumbai," the threat letter reads.
"We will establish Hindu Rashtra here anyhow. No one can harm us. You people will be detained," it adds.
Addressing the Jamiat people as "Fools," the letter threatened Jamiat's general secretary and Rashtriya Lok Dal MP from Dehradun Maulana Mahmood Madani of dire consequences if he continued to support the backward classes.
The Jamiat's secretary-cum-spokesperson Maulana Abdul Hameed Noamani has confirmed the receipt of the threat letter typewritten in Marathi at both its headquarters and its office in Mumbai.
Talking to this Correspondent over phone Maulana Noamani said: "Our organization helped the victims after the bomb blasts in Samjhauta Express; that could be the reason behind the threat," he opined.
Maulana Noamani informed that Maulana Madani has formally complained to the Delhi Police that he has received a threat letter from Bajrang Dal. A copy of the complaint has been given to Commissioner of Police Dr KK Paul while another copy of the same has been sent to the SSP, Dehradun. Police sources have confirmed that a case has been registered at the IP Estate police station and further investigations are on.
"We are trying to find the origin of the letter," a police officer reportedly said. According to Maulana Madani when he was on his way back to Delhi from Dehradun (Uttarakhand) by Masauri Express on February 19, he had received a call from 9144401 on his mobile at 9:15 p.m. threatening to teach him a lessen if he continued to attend meetings and conferences. On reaching Delhi he filed a written complaint in IP Estate police station on February 20 and lodged an F.I.R. there on February 26, he revealed. The Maulana asserted that he was not afraid of such threats. He, however, moaned that the police has failed to trace the caller as yet.
"No power can stop us from striving for the rights of the oppressed, weak and deprived sections. In a democracy every person has every right to fight for his rights and any attempt to suppress it will be a mockery of law, and we will never let it happen," he maintained. Meanwhile, it may be mentioned here that the large gathering or congregation at Malegaon on February 17, 18 and 19 was organized by Tablighi Jamaat and Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Hind had nothing to do with it.
Malegaon%u2019s District Collector, Municipal Commissioner and those IPS and IAS officers who had discharged the responsibilities of security around the Ijtima along with other government officials, who were in charge of civic administration duties during the Ijtima, were felicitated at get-together at the Ijtima venue by the organizers of the Ijtima and dignitaries of Malegaon after it was over.
Malegaon region%u2019s Inspector General of Police, TK Jain speaking at the get-together reportedly had said: %u201CWe witnessed for the first time how lakhs of people attended the Ijtima gatherings and there never was any threat to peace and security during the three-day gathering".
He expressed his marvel and said, %u201CWhatever we may say in praise of the great discipline, it will remain only an understatement.%u201D Congratulating the participant of the Ijtima, Jain had said he had been here continuously for the last three days, and what they had witnessed is to be appreciated.
He wished his own department had such civilized and disciplined personnel. He asked the organizers to help his department recruit candidates for police force from among their group.
What was Strange and struck me immediately was the similarities of the Godhra train blast and the Samjhauta blasts doesnt it???.The commission founded to investigate the Godhra Blast said it was a Gas cylinder burst, i believed it, now looking at the Samjhauta blasts both look the same. Its supposed to be a fuel air mixture which is supposed to act like a Gas cylinder blast.. Both look the same complete burnout, even the bodies charred.. Looks like the work of ISI on both cases..Obviously the ISI instigated the violence in Gujarat and it worked..

Dear Karthik U r absolutely right, my detailed message on this subject earlier here was probably deleted as the ABUSE. But why should be blame Pak ISI for every thing in India? Are we so scared of ISI or are we just nincompoops in front of that organisation? We need an introspection on this subject. What is some disgruntled elements from within the India has done it? You have to keep your options open to incorporate all the possibilities if u desire to reach at some conclusions. Who knows, this might have been the handiwork of ---- to create problems when talks of peace is in progress.

Well, this argument is futile. All the world knows where terrorism comes from. Osama is not a Christian nor a Hindu nor a Buddhist. These blasts have served a 2-progent function. On the one hand, they are a result of the feud of factions among the Muslims themselves, on the other, they serve to take away from the terrorist state image of pakistan, for one would be led to argue that Pakistani terrorists would not blow feloow citizens. Well, the answer is in what's happening in Iraq. Who says Musli terrorists don;t attack Muslims?

Yes. I think Mahakavi jollydoss has got certain mental problems.
We r digressing from te subject. The suspects were supposed to have got down. Normally some body with a past record is rounded up & then produced in court. So while he is a criminal or a terrorit, in this case he manages prove that he is not guilty. Our police force & the criminal system is out dated & so long this is not re-vamped, truth in such cases will never be known. No point of muslim or communist bashing.
