this is the history of Congress that they always prefered rubber stamp and yesman President except the first President Dr. Rajendra Prasad. What is wrong if Kalam expressed wish to stand for 2nd term? He was only responding to the crores of emails he was receiving requesting him to continue as President!

Mr PM, dont you agree that the public has every right to be given an immediate explanation by Mrs Patil Shekhawat in response to the serious allegations levelled against her ? If she is lily white as you claim, why the hesitation? India does not need a President with skeletons in her/his closet. The Congress/NDA should immediately retire Mrs Patil from the race, and invite Mr Abdul Kalam to grace a second term. He is the only deserving person.

Everybody is aware that the presidential candidate is from the same boat named congress. Really shame on the comments which came from the UPA partners, specially the left parties about Dr.Kalam and what right do they have to speak about our president.
