Mr PM, dont you agree that the public has every right to be given an immediate explanation by Mrs Patil Shekhawat in response to the serious allegations levelled against her ? If she is lily white as you claim, why the hesitation? India does not need a President with skeletons in her/his closet. The Congress/NDA should immediately retire Mrs Patil from the race, and invite Mr Abdul Kalam to grace a second term. He is the only deserving person.
