Newspapes should publish the insat image daily
by Miharika on Jun 25, 2007 08:37 PM  Permalink

http://www.imdmumbai.gov.in/sect_ir.htm - thats the Insat satellite picture updated frequently which clearly shows whether its going to rain or not and if so how much. The daily papers should publish this image during the monsoon months so that the public gets an accurate picture rather than depend on inaccurate stupid weather forecasts like the caption of this article: "Mumbai to experience showers for next 24 hrs" Hahahahaha

After the prediction of very heavy showers for next 24 hours
There are actually sunnt intervals and and just drizzling
Does MET Dept predict by viewing satelite Image, Pressure reading or not? I wonder

Check the latest cloud position on below link and all will come to know where it will heavily today

Inefficient goverment servants
by sivajibhai on Jun 25, 2007 12:56 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Do you expect a goverment servant to know what exactly is going on and advise the public on what should be done? NO!!!
Because they are busy trying to figure out ways and means of making some extra bucks under the table. They have learnt and fine tuned this art from their bosses, the politicians!

Just Ignore these rascals and rather use your own judgement.

Another point to note is with 60 years of reservation, inefficient people have got into goverment instituions as well as in the polictical leadership.

What more do you expect from somebody who has got into a position not becuase of merit but because of his birth and because somebody did not let people of this kind come up for the last hundreds of years.

This is the sorry state of this country. Please do not expect any miracles.

I must add my granny can give a much better prediction than these met guys, in fact she also wanted to run for president when I told her that Pratibha was in the running. Unfortunately she did not have a Sonia to back her.
By the way have you noticed one thing. Unlike Jayalalitha and Sushma Swaraj, Sonia has maintained her figure hehehehee
