Dr.Kalam should be re elected. But unfortunately political parties think about next parlimant elction and which president will support to make rule(as next parliment will be hung parliment). Politicians are not bother about country. This is worst case in India, all people support Dr.Kalam eventhough he can't be elected. (thanks to our democaracy)
Koi pharak nahi padata! Koi bhi agar president bana to wo kuch nahi kar payega Bhale Wo Kalamji ho ya Shivarajji......All depend upon blody politicians
I dont know how many of us new our new President. It so disappointing that Congress could nominate someone like her when India as nation is having a best run in all respest. We felt so proud to tell everyone abt our President- He is a Muslim and A Brilliant scientist...now what ...I heard few days back Mr Bardhan from CPI telling having women President is abt upliftment of women..comeone we already had Indraji as PM ...what can be better than this when you want to talk abt women empowerment..Congress has always been a regressive party..mismanaged India ...all major issues remain their creation : despite their 40 yrs of continous rule - Muslim just remain a votebank, Sikh massacre , Assam crisis ( they allowed bangladeshi to get votes ), highly corrupt system AND no good leaders in Congress can be come a PM .Congress still has soem good leaders - Digvijay Singh, Kamal Nath, Jairam Ramesh , Ex Cong' Our current Finance Minis, Murli Deora etc...Congress has always let us down .....It was so refreshing to see Dr Kalam..so motivating..if u read is President messages he tried to sensitise peole abt science ...now it will eternal ,never ending "Garibi Hatao ""....We will miss Dr Kalam...
Dr Kalam has already bowed out gracefully. He had merely indicated to the Third Front, the emptiness of their offer when he mentioned about certainty. Our politicians want to ensure they hold the power in Centre and State till they are alive, nominate their wives when they get jailed, groom their siblings to become heirs of their offices of profit, ensure dynastic rule even if the descendants happen to be foreign nationals. Their tongues wag if a decent first citizen merely expresses his willingness to continue. We, Indians , deserve only Giani Zail Singh who was ready to sweep the floor if his master ( Indira Gandhi) ordered so. We can as well dispense with the Office of President and stop denigrating people like DR.KALAM.

I agree Sri ... sad CONGRESS is al abt GAndhi familiy and their chamchas and CPI only ideology..we need new ideas..
In my opinion Mr. Kalam should be re-elected as President, inspite of all the mispreachings by certain political parties. It is during his tenure India's progress has become rapid. I cannot recall whether India has got to it's credit such a prgressive leader in the recent past.
We request Kalam not to back out. We expect him to exhibit the same will power to fight for the post as he had done in the past for our missile programme Or Pl Kalam target a missile on Parliament during its session. Just do it for us Inidans
kalam should not have expressed his desire to continue in office belatedly -- after the formal declaration of candidates by the UPA and NDA. The UNPA that was formed by a club of former chief ministers -- rejected outright by people of their respective states -- needed a public relations exercise and they thought it fit to drag the Rashtrapati Bhavan into the murky world of politics. They even succeeded in that. That's where the story began for kalam. he was told unceremoniously to quit. Kalam must have gracefully retired, but he didn't. what is certainty in indian politics cant be defined certainly. after cornering abuses and insults he said he wont contest. the damage was done within a span of 24 hours. By unofficially proclaiming contest and then officially statement on not contesting kalam made a big fool of himself before the nation that had high regard for him. sorry to say this but he should have calculated the numbers which by all means donot favour him. Lure of power has therefore triumphed over character.
