Maybe Sanghvi was bit crude, but the bitter truth is during lalu's regime the provision for safety measures in the budget is miniscule if u take inflation into consideration. Also to increase profits without raising the fares, all sorts of rakes(bogies) are continuously in operation. The idea behind it was to leave all the dirty work of rebuilding to his successor in the railway ministry, unfortunately the first accident has occured and unless lalu realises his foolhardiness and thinks in terms of a good maintenance, many more such occurrences will happen. If lalu would have given enough attention to trains and technical issues rather than on his own birthday, he would have had better gift and no one would have any issue with him. but this incidance shows that lalu is no more than corrupt political leader who is in power because of congress.

Your comments really hurt.WHose gift is to Lalu?? Ur Title should have been "Lalu's Gift to People on his Birthday" People didnt gift lalu their lives. Hope everybody gets well soon.

Neel Would you have said the same thing if the dead included your parents. Shame on people like Neel Sanghvi - they are worse than all the Lalus in the world.
