Hinduism encompasses all religions
by Biju Narayanan on Jun 07, 2007 02:36 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The main subject was the entry of non-hindus in temple. But subject derailed in a direction of supremacy of brahmins. What is the relation. All scripts and upanishads are not written by any brahmin. They are written by Rishis, nobody knows who they are. Many brahmins appointed them as their aboriginal forefather just to claim the ownership and rights on scripts.
Veda Vyasa who is the creator of 4 Vedas was son of a fisher woman. Right from that time, knowledge was not the property of any caste.

After several years of experiments, Adi Sankaracharya found Advaita which is the core of indian philosophy. Today brahmins are in high jobs not because of any intellectaul capability, but they had access to schools run by britishers and other did not have. Means, Brahmins had over 100 years of reservation in schools and employment.

In this century at least, can't people think beyond caste, creed and sect and cult and all.
If you believe in god, why can't people see him in everything in this world. How come muslim is different from a hindu, in what way ? How can one say Jesus Christ is worse God than Krishan. What is the comparison ? Hinduism see only one god which is Parabrahmam, all other things are its manifestations including every linving and non-living things in this world and gods like krishan, siva, jesus, allah all.

Open the doors of temple for anyone who wish to find God in there.

Dont try to use ur flowery words to manipulate audience. Your passe' views are full of errors with respect to references and contexts.

Brahmins might have used the existing system to its advantage but they never involved in sectarian voilence. There has been no recorded evidence against Brahmins aggression.

Brahmins aggression is a myth! How can a vegetarian, non-united group of meek men abuse physically stronger dalits and other lower castes?

You obviosuly have been brain-washed by periarites, DK and fundamentalist christian orgs.

From first century through 20 the century India was the richest country in terms of GDP and Purchaing Power Parity. It was largely due to the Brahmins advicing the Kshatriya Kings in implementing policies and procedures. Vaishyas follwed Vedic Dharma to perform business related activities and Shudras helped the other three castes to improve the soceity.

All the violence was created by middle and lower castes against Dalits and OBCs. There was never a Brahminical violence ever recorded.

Periyar's concept of anti-Brahminism is null and void because he based his interpretations on few Brahmins who abused their powers.

We should NEVER and will NEVER open doors for everyone.

Hindu temples are for Hindus only.

Up urs with your anti-Brahminism and anti-Hinduism u neo-christian convert POS. You lousy thugs should be dragged to streets and shot mercilessly.

Actually that is what the Brahmins used to do: drag ppl on streets and lynch them.

If Brahmins are meek vegetarians why do our vedas describe dishes using beef? Meat eating was abolished by Brahmans after the reign of Ashoka when Buddhism threatened to wipe away Hinduism.

The violent and intolerant mind is hopefully not a representative of Hinduism or else other religions are probably a better alternative to Hinduism.

Somehow ppl like you think Hinduism is a weak religion who has only recently acquired strength due to ppl of ur ilk. The strength of Hinduism can be guaged by its survival through more than 5 milleniums. It seems you have little idea, (or for that reason, unfortunately most Hindus of today) about the real strength behind the Hindu philosphy. If ppl like you end up domininating Hinduism it will eventually be replaced by Christianity (just like it will happen to Islam as well) at some point in distant future

Here comes another slimy POS from ghettos of India! Vedas taught making dished with Beef? Where did u read that u capital retard? Did the missionary take ur brains along with ur balls?

Your references to Buddhism is laughable even for a 10 year old school girl. Buddhism cannot stand against the concepts and conceptions of Hinduism. Adi Shankara (a Brahmin - u retarded moron) converted majority of these athiest back to Sanathan Dharma in order to re-establish the supremacy of Vedas.

If it were up to junk worms like u and ur family you dick wads would have sold Hinduism to Muslims and Xians for Rs. 10. Thank God for the Brahmins for they and the kshatriyas maintained the legacy of Sanathan Dharma.

Your low-life "janthus" have taught us Brahmins to take up violence. Since u dont listen to words may be ur clan will listen to our slippers and talwars.

Keep up with the anti-Brahmins nonsense and one day you are going to be dragged into the middle and get ur butt kicked.

You coward POS.

If you are such a smart a&& why did it take u 5 times to pass a course when your Brahmins class-mates kicked ur retarded ass to the moon?

You will always be a Loser!

Teaching, practicing austerity, compasssion, knowledge, purity are the attributes of a Brahmin and not for others?

vedic literatures say many more things like Brahmin Should not travel abroad, save money, live a simple life etc, etc

as per your description how many brahmins will have these qualities Teaching, practicing austerity, compasssion, knowledge, purity

Good point. I am not advocation for the Brahmins. I am advocation against the concept of anti-Brahminism which in incorrect because according to Hinduism Brahmin is the supreme abode a human can reach in human form. It is the one every Hindu should aspire for. Brahmins are made and not born

ok thanks i agree with you but you started playing with words now brahmin, brahminism etc.

if we continue i am sure the real community feelings will start to flow.
All my point here is if brahmins want hindu, Hinduism and their rights they have to get in to field and fight for it. not follow the cunning way of BJP which used kanchi Sankaracharya like a toilet tissue for their own benefits and threw the hindu sentiments when he was arrested.

How do u low-life periyar porumbokkus can even comprehend the concept of Vedas?

Tantri is following the rules which are laid for generations and generations, he is not making up anything to allow or not to allow anybody in the temple. I think this commie minister using his position try to intimidate the tantri to perform the rituals on a christian. Minister should have gone to Arya Samajists to get the certificate stating that he is the devotee of the deity. What is wrong in it. This high time we hindus stand to this kind of garbage and teach these godless commies a lesson of life time.

I dont think anyone needs to be converted to hindu, if they want to visit the temples. Let them visit it first and then convert/not convert.

but yes your statement about Hindus is def. a good one. Who are these priests to decide who should come. You cannot prevent anyone from worshipping God.

Allow but follow regualations of temple
by Ravindra S on Jun 07, 2007 01:27 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

There is nothing wrong in allowing people from other religion/community to enter hindu temple., but all visitors should follow/abide by the rules of the temple. This is being followed in all other countries in mosques/churches, etc.,. Those not able to abide by rules stop visiting such places, this happens in Mecca, not everyone willing to visit this place as local rules are stingent.

I agree. Try entering Mecca while saying that you're a 'kafir'. You'll probably be beheaded.

The larger point is - anyone can enter any place as long as they play by the rules. If we allow anyone to enter a temple, then what prevents Christian missionaries from coming in?

In spite of there being a law prohibiting non-Hindus from entering Tirumala, Christian missionaries enter the piligrim town and talk rot.

This quiet christian lady will lead India to great successes in the near future. Honestly speaking how Indians want the likes of Mulayam, Mayawati, Laloo, Advani etc. to take the centre stage. But she should definitely refrain from becoming PM. Some people can be really lucky to india. We continue to need her presence at the top.Good luck to SONIAJI and India.
