RE:Hinduism encompasses all religions
by Mark on Jun 07, 2007 03:06 AM

Actually that is what the Brahmins used to do: drag ppl on streets and lynch them.

If Brahmins are meek vegetarians why do our vedas describe dishes using beef? Meat eating was abolished by Brahmans after the reign of Ashoka when Buddhism threatened to wipe away Hinduism.

The violent and intolerant mind is hopefully not a representative of Hinduism or else other religions are probably a better alternative to Hinduism.

Somehow ppl like you think Hinduism is a weak religion who has only recently acquired strength due to ppl of ur ilk. The strength of Hinduism can be guaged by its survival through more than 5 milleniums. It seems you have little idea, (or for that reason, unfortunately most Hindus of today) about the real strength behind the Hindu philosphy. If ppl like you end up domininating Hinduism it will eventually be replaced by Christianity (just like it will happen to Islam as well) at some point in distant future
