Sanjay Dutt supports terror because he has Muslim blood
by riir on Aug 01, 2007 03:05 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Read this report http://www.tehelka.com/story_main28.asp?filename=Ne240307How_the_CS.asp&id=1

Maria told Sanjay to tell his father the truth, and Sanjay conceded that he had been in possession of an assault rifle and some ammunition that he had got from Anees Ibrahim. Sunil Dutt wanted to know the reason why. He was not prepared for the answer: %u201CBecause I have Muslim blood in my veins. I could not bear what was happening in the city.%u201D A crestfallen Sunil Dutt left the police headquarters. It was a moment almost worse than the shock of the previous day.

So do not be surprised guys.....osama, haneef, sabeel, sanjay all rock the same boat.

YOU FOOL...the indian media has fooled you into believing that shit. Just today they found new evidence about him chatting with his brother about the terrorist plot. Why do you think haneef ran away to india the moment he was cleared? he knew that soon evidence will be found to prove that he is a terrorist. Unfortunately now naive and innocent indians are at a security risk because of this terrorist. Here is the new development: http://www.timesnow.tv/Newsdtls.aspx?NewsID=1713

you cannot compare the 93 attacks with the 92 riots, these are two different things. One was a criminal conspiracy against out country, where as the other was a spontaneous reaction to certain pre-mediated incidents

aha .. one was a reaction and other was a conspiracy ..
in-fact both were reactions ..
Mumbai blasts happened only becuase of the Mumbai riots .. Had there been no Mumbai riots, there would have been no blasts ..
How long are we going to remain ignorant in our shells and pretend ..
Its high time we think why these blasts happen and find a solution ...
I am not justifying the blasts .. It was wrong, dastardly and coward act ..
I am just pointing out why they happened ..
and now that we have given the last judgement in the blasts case, why isnt anyone being prosecuted in the riots cases ..

he got what de deserved
by Aki on Aug 01, 2007 02:58 AM  Permalink

He got what he deserved. A normal person does not get hold of an automatic rifle, normal person does not have contact with the under world. He should be punished. The fact that he is a movie star should not been a factor at all. Of course it is shocking since he is a know face, but he is a criminal, he broke the laws of the land, and got caught.

Too harsh
by Sandeep on Aug 01, 2007 02:55 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Too harsh verdict. I agree with some punishment but the quantum of judgment just reeks of senselessness. It seems since they can not catch hold of real criminals, they are trying to make scapegoat out of Sanjay.
Since the case has dragged on for 13 years(punishment already?), and Sanjay has already gone to jail for almost 2 years, he could have been fined heavily and given another year of prison and some more time of community service.
Clearly no reasonable person would think Sanjay is a criminal. There is clearly no motive for Sanjay to go out and kill anyone with this gun unless he was using it for self defense. Nor can any reasonable person imagine him using it for extortion/kidnappings etc. And putting Sanjay under TADA which was for terrorist activities prevention act is itself foolish. I think judge went overboard and should have shown some leniency. Judicial/police system should spend more time on real and much more dangerous criminals.
I hope SC can put more sense on this. The objective of laws should also be to reform people which is not also the case here.

Dude what are you thinking. No one said he is planning to attack some one.....But what is the need for him to possess weapon of mass destruction and hand grenades. If he thinks he is in danger, he can go for private security.

And what kind of people have connections with Dawood ibrahim. If a politician had similar contact would you be silent. No way. just because he is a movie actor and you like his movies dont be too soft with him. It is this kind of attitude that is making our country weak. Forget he is a movie star and then think his role and his mistake. 257 have been killed. Just imagine what you would feel if your father/mother/brother/sister are one of them.

Think...think and think.

Trying to bring in things like 257 have been killed just tries to confuse the issue. Remember, Sanjay had nothing to do with killings. His possesion of firearms is the issue and While he did have conversations with Dawood, it does not mean he was involved in the blasts. For all we know he might have been keeping on reasonable terms to avoid getting extortion etc calls from these gangs. Remember in early 90s, these gangsters used to run a huge business of extortions etc.
The fact is because of his highly visible profile and no motive to become a criminal, I feel this verdict went overboard.

Sandeep,

This is india, not australia or UK. So high profiles would always escape. Remember his father was an MP. Inspite of all these still he gets 6 years.....remember what would have been his role. Obviously his role is a major one and it has been curbed so as to appear that he can escape with a minor verdict.

Also fyi he allowed 20 hand greanades to be stored in his house. He had 3 AK 56s as well. Indirectly he helped the blasts to happen. Not indirectly, he helped the terrorists perform their job.

Nameya .. why are you again and again talking about Mumbai Riots. If you don't know they started by Muslims .. and ended by Hindus to show there powers. After Muslims backouts they did the 1993 BOMB BLASTS.

Before BOMB BLASTS everthing was ok don't talk of riots in this forum.

BOMBBLAST innocent were the victims and in riots all dadas are the victims. So please hold on riots before talking.
