Trying to bring in things like 257 have been killed just tries to confuse the issue. Remember, Sanjay had nothing to do with killings. His possesion of firearms is the issue and While he did have conversations with Dawood, it does not mean he was involved in the blasts. For all we know he might have been keeping on reasonable terms to avoid getting extortion etc calls from these gangs. Remember in early 90s, these gangsters used to run a huge business of extortions etc. The fact is because of his highly visible profile and no motive to become a criminal, I feel this verdict went overboard.
