friend, sanjay is indirectly involved in bomb blast at mumbai. We lost more than 200 of our brothers and sisters. Do u think he had kept AK 47 rifle only for playing? Why do u support him?? I think u r supporting him seeing his Munnabhai films? He is a good actor but not a good citizen of India

then you should have been staying in the US. Any person who is instrumental in killing anybody else should be killed himself. Wish you would have made this statement, after somebody from your family had been a victim of the blasts

Boss you are exteremely wrong over here..Who said he possessed the weapon (that too AK 56) for his self-defence??He got weapons to provide it to the person who would give effect to the blasts..
How can you say that he does not qualify for a crime??Had he not provided arms for 1993 blasts, a big tragedy could have been avoided. How can you say that he has not committed a crime??May be you feel only killing, raping, robbery, etc. are the acts of crime..not the ones who provide the arms & encourage such acts.
You feel Indian Law is ridiculous??Its coz of this law that you have the FREEDOM OF SPEECH & YOU ARE WRITING AN ARTICLE HERE. Be thankful.
You think Sanjay is not criminal coz none of your relatives went through the trauma that 1993 blast's victims have gone through..You are DAMN LUCKY MAN!!!But luck is not equally showered on everyone.
Who says there are no crimes in USA?INfact if you are knowledgeable enough & you read papers regularly, you must have read MUMBAI is much safer than NEW YORK in USA. There are less crimes committed in Mumbai..So what do you think about India??
I dont understand the logic in you writing such a wierd reason for supporting a criminal that you go to an extent to blame the country..It shows the love for your HERO but NOT FOR YOUR COUNTRY..

Please get your facts correct before you make statements in air. The laws in US allow weapons for self defence, but not WITHOUT LICENCE, and more that that, it should only be a weapon of self defence. And why should all what is acceptable in US be blindly adopted here? Even in US, there is a strong anti gun movement. In fact, in US, Sanjay Dutt would never have got the outpouring of media and celebrity support which he has recieved in India.
Sanjay was armed with AK 47, which are weapons of destruction and not for defence per se. More importantly, he escaped TADA even when he had provided his premises for storage of explosives, knew of all the diabolic schemes of his brother terrorists and purchased the weapons from them fully knowing that he is an accomplice in all their acts. He helped Dawood & Co in each possible way. And how ridiculous to say that he bought the weapons in self defence. He was a practicing Hindu, a star, son of a powerful father and had protection of the Sena chief. Then what more was the 'protection' he needed?
And simply because Dawood is free, should we let go of other criminals. If someone pays others to set your house on fire, would you appeal to the Court to let go of other 'innocent culprits till the mastermind is apprehended?

Sanjay Dutt did commit a crime & got the correct sentence asper the law. He should have thought of the consequences while attending meetings with Dawood & also his conversation was recorded with Chhota Shakeel in 2003 when he was in Nasik with his 3 friends (mahesh manjrekar/sanjay gupta etc..)where he was a little high & was talking to him as if he was his best buddy...he even sent some presents (t shirts etc) to him..all this did prove that he was in touch with the most dreaded & most wanted criminals at one time or the other & although he was immature, he did commit some crimes for which he is being now punished. Long live INDIA. JAI HIND. MAYUR MERCHANT

As an actor.. he may be good actor but as criminal it is his destiny.. all people who are doing hom havan and yadnas for his bail.. will u do same thing for all criminals including dowood ibrahim ???
Don't worry Sanjay Dutt will hire topmost Advocate who will help get him bail from the Supreme Court. And once again we'll all see the case being stretched for another 16 years.By that time he would have lived his life.
