Sanjay Dutt did commit a crime & got the correct sentence asper the law. He should have thought of the consequences while attending meetings with Dawood & also his conversation was recorded with Chhota Shakeel in 2003 when he was in Nasik with his 3 friends (mahesh manjrekar/sanjay gupta etc..)where he was a little high & was talking to him as if he was his best buddy...he even sent some presents (t shirts etc) to him..all this did prove that he was in touch with the most dreaded & most wanted criminals at one time or the other & although he was immature, he did commit some crimes for which he is being now punished.
