I think Madam Sonia will come up with some legislation to save his favorite minister. This will say that president's mandate is necessary before filing a cases against near and dear ones on central cabinet ministers and President as well leaders of ruling political party.
Who will support it? Left for sure, Lalooji for sure, Mayawati behana for sure. Who remains? BJP & Shive Sena !!! Am I kidding thinking that their protests matter nowadays ?? President Mahamahim Pratibha Patil will surely sign this law even before it is tabled in parliament.
And this will law will come into effect from retrospective effect. This will surely give some reprieve to exteemed cabinet minister in question who can then work more for minority & dalit upliftment without any worries of defamation and mud-slinging from politically motivated charges.
I am very much sure that everyone in Union cabinet as well as Left parties will agree with me that these are politically motivated charges done on behalf of some disguntled upper caste majority who failed to secure admissions in IIM / IIT / Goverenment institutes / colleges or failed to secure a decent job. The question of him being poor will be handled when 20-point garibi hatao programme has removed poverty from the political class indeed. But, right now, that guy is class enemy and must be trated like that.

There's a proverb that " darkness prevails just below the lamp". This episode shows the real Arjun Singh who keeps a facade of being the champion of the opressed classes. Hope the educated people will see through his hypocrisy and kick him out of his portfolio

Which lamp are you talking about? Lamp was the only one Dr. Kalam all other are chor. Sonia, Manmohan, Chidambaram, Laloo all are same category hypocrites. There is no lamp in UPA, all darkness top to bottom.

Some of the ministers have murder crimes listed on their name and still are minister. Do you seriously hope that congress will drop Arjunsingh? They dropped Natwar just because He and Congress Party both were involved in the oil-for-food scam and congress wanted to save skin by sacrificing Natwar.

It is shocking to hear that a minister whom we thought was a champion of OBCs and minorities is actually engaged in harassing a woman for dowry. I am sure Mme. Sonia Gandhi, who has ushered in an age of respect for women by making Pratibha Patil the first Lady President will take strong steps against him and get him dismissed from the ministry. Act like Lord Ram & preach so called "social justice" by injecting caste venom into society, dividing and ruling people - cheap vote bank politics, this reservation will spell doom for india, this "gentleman" was hell bent in getting it done.
