To say Haneef is innocent is a joke and insult to innocents who died
by Major Sassy on Jul 28, 2007 01:08 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Just carefully read his interview; no sane person will doubt that Haneef helped terror after that.

Of course hard proofs are more difficult to come by for terrorists who can always claim that they did not know.

We must treat terror suspect different from common criminals!!

We need harder anti terror laws bring back POTA and Aus. should also make stiffer laws to trap these vermins

Neither truth nor innocence. Its only that Aussie govt. could not prove his connivance due
to lack of evidence because they were so soft and professional! This guy should have been interrogated by the CIA secret services
offshored in Egypt/Pakistan/Middle-east, then
maybe "truth" would have been victorious.

By all indications he is guilty merely realsed due to techincal arguments and political pressure.

This would not be the first time this has happened.

Indian courts have release many terrorists while saying the only reason is lack of hard proof.

DOnt be on his side you may have to regret siding with a terroirst later

Yes you are right, our indian govt. release many terrorist coz lac of proof.

RSS/BJP/VHP/BD but not all hindus demolished Babri Masjid and now there is no proof coz there is no masjid to take action against them and allegedly more than 10,000 muslims killed and killers are roaming freely coz our indian govt. have no proof to keep them in locker.

Yes Major Sassy you are right my friend.

Jai Hind

Thanks

Is he really innocent?
by Alokmay on Jul 28, 2007 01:01 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Even if he is spared from prosecution but majority of us doubt his innocence. Just imagine, how can a person unaware of his laptop being used in terrorist activities? How can a person working in Australia that too in medical profession fall short of money that he is incapable of booking both way tickets. Its peculiar to learn that he was unaware of the fact that its cheaper to book tickets both ways rather than just one way provided that he was very often traveling abroad.
Shame on Dr. Haneef. He has let down the reputations of Indian Muslims and as a whole of all Indians.

This is pity on all Indians that we have to bear such an Indian Govt which runs after votes. This is the way to woo minority Muslims. And now look every party is up to playing minority cards on Vice President election issue. Shame on BJP,CONGRESS and Third front. Sometimes i think its better to be a communist govt rather than being democratic.

His running away without leave on a one way ticket; giving his sim card. Hosting the terrorist Ilian etc etc... Only fools will believe his innocence

Accept Haneef is innocent!
Be magnanimous and large hearted.
You cannot expect Haneef to go through everything on a friend's computer.
Stop being petty!
An Indian is cleared of serious charges that is good enough of celebration.
You need to grow up!

The country's prestige is at stake when charges of terrorism is made.
It was right on the part of the government to help him.
Your attitude is immature. If you were in Haneef's place would you not expect help?
Indian's need to be careful in going to countries where they are exploited and not treated well ( you have mentioned Malaysia and Gulf)!
You should be ashamed of criticising the good work done by the Indian Government!
