I considered communist lobby for the shame of India and Congree is alsi equally responsible.In future country ask question to all these what a shamefull act they did by selecting rubber stamp President.

Mrs Pratibha Patil has been elected for the post of the President of India through Electoral College constituted by elected members of Parliament and state assemblies. She is good only because she is woman.
Most of the Ministers and voters in general who were interviewed by media person told that India is proud to have a woman president after 60 years of freedom. We are least bothered of qualities and abilities of the person
. We consider democracy as a tool to give opportunity to woman, sometimes to SC/ST person, sometimes to a Dalit candidate. If a handicapped is elected as President of India we will consider it as if the greatest strengthening step for democracy. Days are not far when a beggar will be elected and we will be proud to have a beggar as President only because none in the past gave an opportunity to a beggar to occupy highest post.
India is great and its leaders are unique creature of God who feels pride to give weightage to weak candidate and enjoy when a qualified person is discarded.
When Rabri Devi can be chief minister of a state and our leaders feel proud of it on the ground that a lady got an opportunity for such a prestigious post.
Our voters will also enjoy when person like Ram Vilas Paswan will be elected as Chief Minister of Bihar ,not because he possess any quality to serve the people but because he is considered as leader of Dalit.
Abdul Kalam was considered as good president of India not because he possessed huge knowledge, he gave unp

i guess our country going backwards rather than moving forward, the vision of 2020 is really shattered, this is really a hasty decision made by an alien who doesn't know anything about india...

Thats a shame Pratibha has been selected as new president. Thats totally a politics. Every one know that every India like Dr.Kalam to president again. But politics has played a lead role selecting new president.

I fully agree with NV. Our so called law makers voted for a candidate who have serious allegations against her. It is pity that politics matters in this country.
