Your last two points suck!!! America did not send any Indians to Space... Both are Indian Americans! Russia sent an Indian. Secondly, by grabbing our citizens... America does not become great...
And if you know a bit of history... The so called Americans who now live in America are also originally from other countries in Europe. They just wiped out the original Red Indians.. the real Americans! On the other hand... Russians, Chinese and Middle east people are from their respective countries even by race. So if Indian gets citizenship in US.. he is also American just like the so called original Americans who are from Europe!

to dislike america & the west but to continue to use their inventions is sheer hypocrisy.

Yes america is a better country than many of the other countries we deal with.
But americans do whatever is best for america not what is best for india.
Similarly indians(NRI's and residents) should do whatever is best for India.

actually there is no. hypocrisy.we are paying for it. They are not giving it free and whatever they have invented they have patented it.
They want to sell it. If they wanted they should have invented and not put the product for sale.
We contributed also a lot to the world. Anyone paid us for it?

I have no issues with america nor with anyone who wants to go there or stay in India. Wherever we are we are 'Indian' and that all!!!
So anyone who screws NRI's or NRI's screwing resident indians are just being hypocrite.
Only thing is NRI's should find a way to contribute to their 'mathrubhumi' and resident indians should be kind to the NRI's and treat them as resident indians.
Does the Indian parliament have to ratify the treaty? It is better for Dr. Singh to keep Lok Shabha out of this loop, as the lunatic lefties will subvert the treaty. Dr. Singh should try to get Advani on board as both of them genuinely care about India's future.

No, Indian parliament don't have to ratify this treaty, cabinet approval is enough. It is better to get all party consensus in this deal, but our politicians are not intellectually capbable enough to understand the gravity of this deal, and also not mature enough to look beyond petty party politics. Also, it it better to avoid the decisions of "politicians" (??) like Govindas, Lalu Yadavs or the red-brigade.
Please hold another guy who would take India to the days of the Raj... the forms and shapes may vary but it is well known that America has no other intention but to somehow cap the nuclear capabilities of India. While there might be some value in the deal, America is more concerned about making sure that INdia does not grow as big as China .... because that will be hard for India to manage.... MM Singh ji u have a responsibility to the future generations ... dont give them an India where they have to bent over to listen to their masters in West!
Our commie friends by the way will not have any objections if the negotiations were with China instead of US. I don't think I ever saw them raise a protest at the China-Pak Nuclear and military axis ? Did they ever protest North Korea's nuclear tests ?

we hindus dont have any problems with christians. Yah we would like them to reduce their conversion zeal and not take undue advantage. btw there are hindu organization outside india coverting christians to hindus.
Islamists btw can get lost. They are the enemies of every other kind of people in the world. bottomline.

Let them believe whatever they want. They are not beheading hindus like muslims do.
Also who cares for this website when the pope himself said that islam is not a religion in the true sense like other religions as it doesnt have the inherent logic of 'goodness' and love for mankind like other religions have.

What has religion to do with Nuclear Deal.No Christian believes Hinduism as a Satanic religion.Islam does however and thats why it bans other religions across so many countries.
I agree. Not just Indian parliament but the Indian public also needs to be taken into confidence as the goal posts have moved in this deal.
These are my thoughts....
There is no transparency in this deal anymore. For many unknown reason PM likes to operate in secrecy. Most of us knew the details of the deal because of the news articles in western media not because the Indian PM or government made them public. Why is this ?
Why is opposition not consulted ? They should have been involved especially because BJP government was having a dialogue with US ( remember Jaswant-Strobe talks?).
I wonder what our parliament MPs like Sonia, Govinda,Shabuddin and Laloo etc..( there are lots of them) contribution to this debate will be?
Forget about opposition, press and public I wonder if the Indian president Abdul Kalam was consulted ?

Why not expect the govt to come to each and every individual to consult and get the opinion? The govt is voted to power and that means people have given the responsibility of make decisions deemed fit for the nation by them. The PM did make statement in the parliment about this. There is Mr. Anil Kakodkar in the negotiation team to represent the scientific community and he is by no means sympathetic to the US. Wait for the agreement to be made and then scream about goal posts staying or moving. The nuclear establishment in India is worried about losing its status as white elephants...thats probably we see lots of people raising bogeys..without anyone clearly pointing out what can be harmful and what can be helpful.
Remember Russia is no longer the old russia or USSR...and is slowly moving away. We need to wake up from the slumber and stop hoping Russia will provide us technology when we need it.
I want to share my experience of buying a site in Mysore, Karnataka. I met a real estate broker and asked him to show 60%u2019 x 40%u2019 residential site. He showed me about three MUDA sites on the main road of locations called Kuvempunagar and J.P.Nagar. He said the price is Rs.3000 per sq.ft. I said that I%u2019ll contact him later and enquired with some more people. I came to know that the real estate prices in Mysore have completely come down. It%u2019s just Rs.1000 sq.ft.-Rs.1500/- sq.ft.in prime locations and just Rs.500sq.ft.in MOST of the other locations. I came to know that a group of real estate brokers are playing games. They make a group and some pose as purchasers and one act as a broker and raise the price of the site and houses in front of the purchasers. Newspapers by name Star of Mysore and Times of India have taken money from these brokers and builders to advertise that prices are increasing. I request everyone to be careful when purchasing sites and houses at Mysore as the brokers and real estate consultants are misleading purchasers. The real estate prices have come down in Mysore because of development of Ramanagar and Bidadi near Bangalore as IT, BT hub. The airport coming up near Mysore is local airport, not national or international. The people who have bought lands in and near Mysore are suffering as they are not able to sell it. There is not much of scope for IT or BT sector development in Mysore. According to Vaastu no industry can develop in Mysore. This is the rea
