REAL ESTATE IN MYSORE

I want to share my experience of buying a site in Mysore, Karnataka. I met a real estate broker and asked him to show 60%u2019 x 40%u2019 residential site. He showed me about three MUDA sites on the main road of locations called Kuvempunagar and J.P.Nagar. He said the price is Rs.3000 per sq.ft. I said that I%u2019ll contact him later and enquired with some more people. I came to know that the real estate prices in Mysore have completely come down. It%u2019s just Rs.1000 sq.ft.-Rs.1500/- sq.ft.in prime locations and just Rs.500sq.ft.in MOST of the other locations. I came to know that a group of real estate brokers are playing games. They make a group and some pose as purchasers and one act as a broker and raise the price of the site and houses in front of the purchasers. Newspapers by name Star of Mysore and Times of India have taken money from these brokers and builders to advertise that prices are increasing. I request everyone to be careful when purchasing sites and houses at Mysore as the brokers and real estate consultants are misleading purchasers. The real estate prices have come down in Mysore because of development of Ramanagar and Bidadi near Bangalore as IT, BT hub. The airport coming up near Mysore is local airport, not national or international. The people who have bought lands in and near Mysore are suffering as they are not able to sell it.
