Every religion is good in its own sense
by Sandeep Kulshrestha on Jul 07, 2007 01:33 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I just think that every religion is good in its own sense but people who wants to dominate the humans (be it Mullas, pandits etc) make it worse for the human kind.

It is said that Islam teaches SABR, Islam is a religion of peace, respect, trust and love but followers of Islam made it one of the most hatred religion of the world. They are being termed as most impatient, hatred, unpeaceful. Even program like eradication of POLIO (Pulse Polio) has been feared by Muslims as a trick to make them impotent so that muslims r decreased. whereas all religions r taking the vaccine.

Islam is said to be in danger even on a minor happenings.

Pakistan & its Muslim clerics have encouraged militants and Islamic radicals to attack India in all manner. Now if Pakistan wants to have different culture for itself who is gonna accept that there. That is why these types of attacks r bound to increase in future to defend their thoughts.

"If you know the history of Islam you will never say Islam is a religion of peace."

Mr. Pankaj you missed something above: Put false in your statement.
Your statement should be:
"If you know the false history of Islam you will never say Islam is a religion of peace."

And the correct statement should be "If you know the true history of Islam you will certainly say Islam is a religion of peace."

Try to read some literatures then comment Mr.

Read Quran first and if possible not from a website because many people like you provides misinturprated information on these websites.
Buy a Copy of Quran (If you are not conversant with Arabic language try to read it with English Translation (SHAI Publications probably))
If you fear reading it as a Holy Book then try to read it just like a noval or any other book not a holy book...and then reply

Along with Muslims...Hindus to be blamed too
by Rehman on Jul 07, 2007 01:31 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

My real experience in past 20 year ago.
A Cricket match between India and Pakistan. India won the match my heart filled with joy. I went out to share my feelings with my hindu friend. Very soon my joy was turned into a sadness. My friends started teasing me "hey..your pakistan has lost the match".

dear rehman,

this is sad and unfortunate but my experience is that moslems collectively celebrate when Pak wins, even if the opponent is india.

on the other hand, i dont deny that there are many patriots in moslems and affection towards pak need not make moslems terrorists. If a hindu US returned call us dirty indians, are we calling him a terrorist?

Compare it with Hazratbal, where we lost many army guys only to protect the mosque. So much for muslim appeasement. Did Pakistan a muslim state have any issue doing so. On what basis then do Indian Muslims ask that Mosque shud be protected even if it houses terrorists

selective attacks
by purna on Jul 07, 2007 01:26 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Whenever muslims resort to violence and claim that they have the approval and sanction of religion and the clerics, or published atrocities by muslims against non-muslims or even muslims, there is no condemnation from religious leaders, muslim celebrities (shabna azmi type)who generally are very vocal on other issues or even the general secular public-politicians. Why this is so?

Obviously, cowards that they are, because a fatwa from the local imam can torpedo their lucrative filmi career and set the cat among the pigeons, and not to disturb the comfort of public idolising, expose them for the cowards that they are! Which anyway they prove by their silence, which they dont realise!

You are 100% true. The phrase "sanction of religion" is wrongly used. Instead you use the phrase "sanction in the name of religion". Whatever is happening is happening as a selfish materialistic motto of religious countries, religious leaders and most importantly politicians who can survive only in the name of religion. This is a common phenomenon in all religious groups where material development is overdominates nature, naturality, simple style of living.
