Politicians' ineffeciency's height!
by Rabri Yadav on May 12, 2007 01:18 AM  Permalink

SHAMEFULLY INDIANS HAD TO DIGECT THAT INDIA IS TOPPING IN CORRUPTION !
Parliamentarians are so casual aboout it that they did not try to ammend laws of CORRUPTION PREVENTING MACHINERY.It would not hit the'fundamental rights!'
Bur because it would HIT their personal pockets, they did not bother!
WHY WOULD THE HONEST PEOPLE OF THE COUNTRY BEAR A BAD NAME FOR THE POCKET FILLING INTERESTS OF THE CORRUPT POLITICIANS?
SC has passed VERY CORRECT VERDIST!
WE ARE HAPPY!
IN PUBLIC DEBATE WE WILL SUPPORT THE SC VERDICT!
POLITIOCIANS BEWARE!

SC judgment exposes the legislature
by Prabhakar Rao on Jan 20, 2007 08:10 PM  Permalink

The members of Parliament manage to win the General elections with money or muscle power and then they claim that they are enjoying the mandate of the people. Most of the MPs both in Loksabha and Rajya Sabha are so less qualified and have no morals. If they have to decide the fate of intelligent and educated people of this country then the country will remain backward.
Jaisingh's argument that masses can not go to "un elected" people (judges) to strike down the political decisions in a democracy, is foolish. That is the only path leftout for the educated masses.

by ibrahim sheriff on Jan 18, 2007 09:27 PM  Permalink

Hon'ble Supreme court jugdement in the ninth schedule is a welcome step but SC while reviewing the independent acts in the ninth schedule should take into account social justice and public good in mind.

IX Schedule Judgement
by B.A.Sastry, Srikakulam on Jan 15, 2007 05:06 AM  Permalink

The SC judgement is timely. Competitive politics which treats caste and religious groups as nothing more than vote banks is leading the country towards a civil war, as seen at AIIMS. Perverted politicians like Arjun Singh and Ram Vilas Paswan who want to devide the society into caste blocks for their own selfish political ends should wake -up and understand that constitution is not their hand-maiden. Indira Jaisingh should visit a couple of polling booths in rural India to understand how our "elected prople" actually get elected.

SC judgment couldn't have come at a better time
by pradeep agarwal on Jan 14, 2007 03:13 PM  Permalink

SC has done great service to the nation by this ruling. It is strange that Activists & lawyers of similar background are opposing the cause while SC has saved the nation from total anarchy. We can't change the values on which charracter of a person is built, than how a debate is valid for changing the base of nation i.e Constitution?
