Only Indians, particularly hindus can think of "Vasudaiva Kutumbakam". Let the border be, without it we indians will have another millenia of invasion from the western neighbours.
I read some discussions below regarding LTTE. friends LTTE is just like naxals and ULFA and since they are fighting from a diff country other than india we think they are against indians. But they suffer the most at srilanka by the atrocities of srilankan government. Tamils are undergoing severe trauma there by SL army.LTTE are asking a separation to lead a peaceful life. Similar to the case of "Bangladesh"(east pakistan) in 70's. see in our own country in ANDHRA people want a diff state called "TELUNGANA" claiming to divide andhra pradesh.
What LTTE has done was absolutely wrong in the case of killing Rajiv gandhi. I accept. It is similar to Nadhuram of RSS killed mahatma Gandhiji. RSS is even now enjoying a good status in India.

Another problem with this is that they make be caught and co erced or brainwashed to return to India and act as security threats

Legally, it is a problem e.g. India acts responsibly unlike other countries. So, if those Indian citizens are caught doing some wrong things, then India is in bad light. Also, they will again try to infiltrate in India which is a challange for India. Morally, we might like it as long as they cannot come back. It decreased population - :)

The goverment is responsible for every citizen's welfare, (reservations, education cess, article 370, union territories).With all this in place if people sneak out to do jobs. It speaks of the effectiveness and motive behind them(Vote bank).
Our politicians condemn the incident. Our PM issues his usual statement saying that terrorism will be dealt firmly. Nobody will take him seriously.And he knows this. But he has to issue that statement. As usual Left & Laloo will blame Hindutava forces. BJP hold central govt responsible for being too soft on terrorists.Police as usual will be clueless. Police will blame terrorists from across the border. They make some arrests based on suspicion. Media will get a lot of fodder to talk about this for next few days. NDTV & IBN live will conduct chat programmes where the so called intellectuals & pseudo secualrists will join together & express their opinion that Pakistan cannot be involved in this & hint that it is a handiwork of Hindutva forces. For a Common man like you & me, it's one more tragedy. We thank ourselves for being lucky one more time. And we get busy with our work. Life goes on. After some days of lull one more incident will happen & the same sequence of events are repeated. But still the life goes on.
This is how we lead our life in India. Human life does not have any value here. Nobody cares for others. Indian Middle Class & educated people, even though they are alive, they are as good as dead & buried.
And lastly most of the people who call themseleves as educated, "Do Not Even Vote" in the general elections.
Until & unless everybody concerned decides to clean the system, this will continue. Most of us are waiting for the whole system to change on it's own which is not possible.
I think Amit has not asked the educated people not to vote..rather he has said..that educated people do not vote..there is difference in both the statements Bye Satish
If some Indian muslim or bangladeshi wants to get out of this country we should be happy and let them go..its not our problem...its paks problem..let them handle it..if some nut wants to sneak into our country then its our problem!! No Bala, they are not. Have you noticed that he is asking people not to Vote. Thats not correct !!! His concerns will not be addressed by not voting. They will be addressed if we vote right people to power.
In your house, if something is not right, do you just leave your brothers or sisters to fix it and make yourself unconcerned. No, you actually for part of solution and attempt to solve the problem. If you cannot do anything else, you do atleast take part in family discussion and give your opinions.
Then why such indifference for your own country? Is it not your own home? Why should you disassociate yourself like this?
