MK is chameleon , he changes color for situation. Offlate he did nothing to demonstrate as elder statesman than looking after his family wealth. No wonder , he thinks Congress will take right decision . God save TN from these two parties DMK and ADMK.
There is nothing new in Karunanidhi's support to Sonia & Co in their move to topple the UP Government to to instal a puppet Government with its catspae the Governor RajeswarRao. Even after Supreme Court'ds judgement in the Bommai case, the Congress is still at the old game of Article 356 which was started in 1959 with EMS Nambudhripad as its first victim and DMK is again at the old game of dropping its political demands for convenience. The Article 356 opposition has gone the way of Separate Dravidanadu for Dravidians, their opposition to Hindi Imperialism and their asnti congressism of the early days. Earlier it was fear of the Congress juggernaut that it may ban and crush the Dravidian movement, when Congress was a power to be reckoned with, not a deflated baloon of todays Coalition era but today it is the retention of the seven lucrative ministries which have gone a longway in manipulating and enriching the fortunes of the K-family and Maran family.
Nothing surprising. Generally DMK has no principles except to oppose Jaya's stand and be on the right side of the Gandhis [Indira,Sonia,etc.] Unlike the Communists these regional parties dont have any baggage to carry and they act according to their self-interests.Karunanidhi is a pragmatist. He knows that his Enemy's Jaya's] Enemy [Sonia] is his Friend!
